'Very nice hotel, a few minutes walk from Naning Road and the metro station. Al lot of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood . Very nice pool with very friendly service. The rooms and lobby can use an update.'

'We verbleven 9 dagen met 2 kamers in Crowne Plaza. De ligging is uitstekend gelijk aan de Nanjing road ,ontbijt was uitgebreid. Personeel was behulpzaam en vriendelijk. We kregen nog een gratis late check out omdat ons vlucht pas in de avond was als een service van hotel. Als we volgende keer naar Shanghai komen , dan komen wij weer naar de Crowne Plaza'

'The stay was good. Hotel is located at an excellent location. Front desk staff was extremely friendly too (Mia helped me with the checkin). The cleaning lady was smart and helpful as well. Will definitely stay here again when I come to Shanghai next time. '

'Ruime, eenvoudig ingericht, appartement (kamer, keuken, slaapkamer, toilet/douche). Keuken was goed ingericht (nespresso, waterkoker, rijstkoker, grote koelkast, magnetron, wasmachine). Iedere dag schoongemaakt (toiletpapier, flesjes water, nespresso cups, theezakjes, slipper). Enige punt van kritiek is dat je er soms wel even voor moest vragen. Openbaarvervoer op korte afstand (metro 8 en 14). Loopafstand Xintandi, Yuyang en Peoples Square en de Bunt: 10 - 20 minuten. Veel moderne eettentjes...

'Always a pleasure staying at the central hotel, as well as the grand central hotel. Amazing location just around the corner of Nanjing road and the bund, very convenient family mart across the road. Metro station “East Nanjing road” at 5 minute walking distance. Amazing friendly staff that speak excellent English. Absolute go to when staying in the tourist center of Shanghai.'

'what I like about the renaissance hotel is mainly the atmosphere in the hotel. A lot of chinese hotels are beautiful but overwhelming huge. Too high ceilings, too much marmor. The renaissance is more boutique like with good sound and atmosphere. Everything is there, very comfortable but not overdone'

'One of the best hotels in Shanghai, with a President's and Royal suite that has been used by the big and powerful people on Earth. A few years ago they were overbooked and I got the president's suit (in basic state, of course - if a real president would show up for sure all tapestry and so on would be changed). This time a normal suite. Hotel is somewhat ageing, but still top class - something you pay for, of course. All amenities and staff are flawless. Great garden. '

'Gezellig hotel op super goede locatie in het centrum van Shanghai. Onbtijt is uitgebreid genoeg, terras aan de ontbijt/eet ruimte, kamers zijn rustig al hadden wij wat last van straatlawaai aan de voorzijde. Bedden zijn HEMELS!!'
