'I have wanted to stay here for some time. Finally got to do a pre Christmas stay. Our room was amazing, you get a real feel of the history of the building. A lovely warm welcome, with a welcome letter, giving some history of the hotel. Dinner was so good, a reasonable priced wine list and first class food. Breakfast which was included, so rare these days, and was very good. Really loved our stay and it will now be a place to return to, again and again. Would be a wonderful place for a wedding,...

De B&B zit in een oud victoriaans gebouw, badkamer kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken (voorbereiding daarvan leek al in gang gezet). Daarom iets lagere score op netheid en staat van accommodatie. Op loopafstand vind je de ferry naar Portsmouth met een oude haven en nieuwe shoppingoutlet en boulevard met arcades, kermis en meer vermaak.'

'Room was a little tired but overall okay. Minor issues like ripped wallpaper etc. My only issue was the fact the latch was slightly damaged on the inside so I had no way to properly lock the door. I had to put the chain on and shove a doorstop under the door, as a solo female traveller this made me a little uncomfortable. Walls are very thin so be aware if you’re a light sleeper. Was nervous as never used this site before, but the whole process was exceptional. It was a bit costly as we have stayed on the same caravan park with park dean for literally half the price. However on this occasion as parkdean appeared full we went private. Caravan was a good size. Elements need some love, but ultimately it suited our family of five perfectly!...
