'The Orca Inn is your budget in if you just want access to the island. The rooms are small and mine seemed to get very hot despite not having the heater on waking me in my sleep. The good thing is that because the rooms are small the AC works fast. The parking lots lights shine through the window and the blinds don't do a great job at keeping that light out. Once the sun comes up it is unbearably hot inside.The host was welcoming and it is conveniently located.'

'The hotel is charming, clean, fabulous location and I loved that looked out to the water. However, our TV didn't work and when I asked the staff if I was doing something wrong, her answer was "some of our TVs don't work" and just shrugged. Not a big deal, but still it was odd and not great customer service because there wasn't even an apology. Also, we stayed 2 nights and although I don't need room service to make beds, they only left enough coffee for one morning and there was only one packet...

'the room was clean but dated as was the entire property, the poor cleaning girl had to call the owner to check in people ( she was not computer savvy ) we felt bad for her she really did her best - the is NO A/C in the rooms just a big old fan thankfully we had a big window that we could leave open ( we were on the 2nd floor, window facing the street ) otherwise I would not feel comfortable leaving it open in the area ... but it was 90 degrees in Anacortes that day ... no early check in at all,...

'I appreciated having the family suite to have access to a kitchen. Couldn’t get connected to the WiFi though.'

'Clean. Fun artwork. Nice bed. Well supplied kitchen, though we didn't use it. Nice bathroom. Eclectic collection of books. It would be nice to have hooks on wall or a coat tree for coats, especially if it's rainy. There's a perfect spot next to fridge. (We didn't want to use the cleaning closet.) '

'The room was clean, newer, charming and close to the dock. Pool and hot tub were nice and enclosed but with open top. It was really nice! You have to walk across the street to get towels and pay for showers were the only down fall.'

'Fine hotel for a short stay. We had to take the ferry EARLY the next morning and this hotel was perfect for that. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. You could hear the people a bit from neighboring rooms but it was nothing too crazy. All in all a good place to stay for this price. '
