'Very nice place that could be improved on with a couple of recliners and a softer bed. The lake was nice but better suited for jet boats since it’s quite shallow where it shouldn’t be. The boat ramp has no dock and you must straddle a busy road when loading or unloading. Otherwise it’s a very beautiful lake and lovely house.'

'We loved the cabin. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy our whole stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the property other than having a coffee on the landing to the beach stairs the day we left. Very clean and cute. Only thing we would change is the mattress and pillows in the master bedroom. We had a hard time sleeping as the mattress was so soft in the middle and pillows were super hard. Would happily rent again!'

'The cottage was bright and the view of Lake Michigan was beautiful. The access to the beach was really nice and there were not many people on the beach. The basement which I did not use except to come and go had an odd odor and seemed to have a dehumidifying system that worked continuously. Small problem with fruit flies in the cottage and they seemed drawn to the garbage disposal. 'This cottage was great for our mid-winter weekend getaway. It is remotely located on Lake Michigan. We were glad it was not snowy as the road would have been a challenge, but we loved the location. The cottage was clean and cozy and Mike was great with communication. We would stay again!'

'The overall best things about this property is the large size and how close it is to everything. The finishings are a bit dated but everything was very clean. The only downside was that the front deck was not clean (although being near trees does that) and the patio furniture could be replaced.'

'The location of this property can’t be beat! The cottage was adorable and we thoroughly enjoyed the front deck and the back sunroom. Having the paddle boat, paddle boards and kayaks available for use was an added plus. We would love to go back!'

'I took my mom for a birthday celebration stay on the beach, and we loved it. The view is amazing, the decor was beautiful, very comfortable and homey. The communication with the host was easy and friendly. They were very informative and took care of our needs while we stayed there. We will definitely keep this on our list of destinations.'

The children especially enjoyed combing the beach for washed-up treasures. We had many long walks along the beach and a few excursions out to some of the nearby quaint communities, which are quiet now with the end of the busy season. 'My husband and father in law enjoyed their stay at this property for a fishing weekend. Super clean, nicely appointed. There is no WiFi and the cell signal is weak, however this worked perfectly for them to have a nice disconnected weekend. They 100% would chose this place again. Ericka was easy to contact and quick to respond.'
