'Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances. We brought our 4 small dogs - but had them caged 90% of the time since we could not trust them to not jump on the couch with us. We roasted smores on the fire pit, enjoyed the lower deck bar and...

'The house was just as described in the listing. Kyle was very responsive before and during our stay. It was nice being on the river so we could fish and kayak. The grandkids loved the game room as well as the bedroom lofts. There was plenty of room for us to spread out on the enclosed porch and deck. I would recommend this charming place to anyone interested in staying near Berkeley Springs. '

'The A Frame Mountain Retreat was an excellent choice for our girls trip! The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and true to the photos. We enjoyed the hot tub and cute firepit area immensely There were some ants, which is to be expected in the middle of the woods, but keeping all of our food in sealed containers or the fridge helped. Kim, the host, was informative and prompt to respond. I felt well prepared prior to arrival. The location was nice. You really feel like you’re secluded in the woods....
