Strandhotels in Shikoku

'This was our favorite hotel. It had everything it had an onsen with a massage chair and a laundry room which you can monitor the busyness of the laundry room or the onsen from your TV in your room- brilliant! So far it’s the only hotel we’ve seen in Japan, where they are actively trying to decrease the plastic waste. Instead of stocking all sorts of crap in the room they have it available at the elevators. This is a welcome change. All that plastic in Japan is driving us nuts.'

'Excellent location just minutes from the train station and bus lines. Lot's of excellent eating locations within 10-15 min walking. Very nice public bath on the top floor with natural spring water. There are two wings, East and West. The rooms in the original wing (West, I believe) are getting a bit dated but still quite decent. A couple of proximate restaurants also offer a 10% discount if you show your room key. This is a very slightly higher-end business style hotel and great value. ...
