Weekendje Shimanami Kaido Fietsroute

'We hebben hier in de luxe tent geslapen, de bbq is een echte aanrader. Prima service, goed uitgeruste tent met goede bedden en airco. Ontbijt is super en goede vriendelijke service.'

'Located almost half way on the Shimanami Kiado steps from the sea in a quite little town. The room was minimal. The hotel doesn’t offer amenities and only two coffee bags and no milk. Checkin wasn’t till 4pm and after a long day cycling in summer an earlier check in would have been appreciated. What we payed for a small amount of time in the room was high. We also had a shared bathroom and toilet. The restaurant was underneath the rooms and you could hear people talking.'

'I had a lovely stay. The staff were kind, welcoming, and very helpful, and the hotel was comfortable and enjoyable throughout my visit. The only small difficulty was finding the location on my first arrival, but once I found it everything was excellent. Thank you very much for your hospitality.'

'Large rooms which is a nice change from travelling around Japan! Bathrooms are visible from the bedroom but there is a curtain. Bike rental was good, hotel is a nice place to chill out especially after visiting the main cities Google opening and closing times for local places to eat and drink are not always accurate- a lot of places were closed for dinner when Google said they would be open. Good to bear in mind.'

'The amenities and location of the property made it a super comfortable and relaxing stay. It was beautifully designed and the view was great! (Worth the uphill climb and slight detour from the main shimanami kaido route!) Smooth and easy communication with the owner. Google maps location was accurate. Breakfast provided was decent. If you are staying in the property for more meals, bring more food along. Kitchen is well furnished. Will choose to stay here again!'

'Het hotel ligt ca 5 min lopen van het station en heel gunstig tov de ferry. Gunstig voor degenen die de Shimanami route willen fietsen (fietsverhuur is om de hoek en Yamato (bagage transportservice) ligt op de begane grond. Ontbijt is heel uitgebreid. Mooi uitzicht op het water.'
