Extraordinary
Did not expect to be impressed. Just extraordinary. Short walk to the main square, located on a very quiet alley. Luxurious rooms furnished with great taste. Price, for us, was very affordable for what it offered. Location has no parking but there is cheap public parking (2 euros/day) close by. We did not read the instructions and couldn’t open the main gate. There are visible instructions and the owner answered immediately. Honor system for drinks. Room was very big with a jacuzzi bathroom. There is not breakfast either, but this is clearly specified. Interior patio is very lovely. Overall, one of the most luxurious feeling we experienced in a long time. Good job, owners. Cheers from Houston, Texas.

A gem in Sibiu
Amazing hotel. So clean and comfortable in a great location. The jacuzzi is a real treat. 2 downsides though: 1. No one was at the front desk EVER. We did not know how to get in the hotel because we did not have international phone service. A random local woman helped us by calling the hotel and then we got the code. As no one was at treveption we could not pay with our 2 credit cards as we had hoped 2. Other people have remarked that while staying in the ground floor rooms, the sound of people in the hotel courtyard is loud and intrusive.

Lovely little hotel close to Sibiu city center.
It's a very nice hotel, clean, nice staff and close to everything. Two things that might be good to be aware of though, is that there is not a lot of soundproofing between the room and the outside. I had room #1, next to the reception and the street on the other side, and I could hear everything that was going on. Not that it is a big issue for me, but it could be for others. Though it's very minimal, as it's a small hotel and not a lot of traffic. The other thing is that the bathroom only had a bathtub, and not a shower that was fixed to the wall. So if you are a person that prefers showers, be prepared to hold the showerhead from the bathtub in your hand as you do so.

Excellent stay, very comfortable, recommended
This is a lovely place to stay close to everything in Sibiu. The room is large, clean and the bed is super comfortable. One small thing, as the reception is often unmanned I would suggest getting check in instructions beforehand, we didn't, and it made things a little bit more difficult...still after ringing them this was all sorted out soon enough.

4 bedroom hotel with large bedrooms and jacuzzi tubs. Nespresso in room and ac works great. court yard for relaxing and can purchase beer soda or water at reasonable price on honor system. house now hotel built in 1800s and is quant and i highly recommend.

Great customer service. The women at reception were extremely accommodating from check-in to check-out. The amenities were wonderful -- very large rooms, a nice little dining area with coffee and a few snacks, a Jacuzzi in the room

Very nice place, great location
Lovely place in the centre of the old town. Comfortable, welcoming, wish we could have stayed longer. The jacuzzi-bath was particularly appreciated!

Excellent!
We loved our stay in Sibiu. The town itself is fantastic, and our experience was definitely enhanced by our stay at Cetatea Medievala. The location is excellent - about a 2-3 minute walk to Piata Mare! The room was beautiful and very large. The staff are also really helpful and kind, and even booked a taxi to the airport for us on our last day (which cost approximately £3!). I would thoroughly recommend this place and will definitely be staying here again in future.

Offer this experience to yourself...
Ous stay in Cetatea medievala let us some regrets because we came very late, around eleven o'clock, and with disturbing questions about our trip, on next day, to Balea lake with the promise of a sudden change of weather and the necessity to find a taxi to drive us there. Consequently, we did not enjoy enough this unusual large room offering luxurious furniture, a tub -that we could not use because of the lack of time-, free access to drinks, all of this for a very decent price. Another disappointment, still due to our late arrival, was the impossibility to take the breakfast on next morning in a partner restaurant. A second night was a necessary one, unfortunately, it was not on our tight program... By the way, we also want to thank you our two helpful hostesses, specially to get the taxi on the next day, they skillfully calmed our anguishes...

깔끔한 시설, 친절한 사람들 루마니아에 대한 이미지를 높여줄 수 있는 숙소였습니다. 올드타운과 인접해 있어서 여행이 너무 편했고요. 유럽여행에서 겪는 불편 중 하나인 냉장고 문제를 공용으로 사용해 좋았습니다. 다음 루마니아 여행때도 숙소로 잡을 계획입니다. 참 유럽에 별로 없는 에어콘도 빵빵합니다.

Generous and comfortable stay
We had an amazing stay at Cetatea Medievala. Nothing was a problem. Everything was super clean and despite being very close to the town square, it was quiet. This wonderful boutique hotel supplied lovely breakfasts and generously offered a fridge full of soft drinks, juices, wine and beer for personal use when needed. Further, there were daily treats in the breakfast room you could nibble on if hungry and an excellent coffee machine available whenever you needed it. Great place to stay.
