'excellent stay'

'This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and spacious, and had amenities like the large jacuzzi tub. It is safe and quiet. We go to Quito a lot, and we usually stay at a different hotel. Because of scheduling, we ended up trying this hotel instead. Hotel Reina Isabel is our new go to hotel.'

'Everything that was good about this hotel was quite average. There was nothing bad about it either. It's hard to explain, but the whole is worth less than the sum of its parts... I would probably choose somewhere else next time.'

'Hoewel een kort verblijf van 2 nachten, een prima tijd gehad in het in historische centrum zeer centraal gelegen hotel. Ook van het straatverkeer geen last, mede omdat de straat relatief smal is. Bijzonder was dat die Zondag verplicht binnenblijven was vanwege de census( volkstelling) Uitsluitend militairen en politie op straat. Echter met het fijne hotel en de goede maaltijden was het niet echt rampzalig. Ook was het bijzonder dat het hele land vanaf vrijdagmiddag tot maandagmiddag drooggelegd...

'This is a wonderful hotel with great service in the heart of old town but off the main street, thus avoiding the street noise. The owner, Alberto, is a wonderful man who had lived in the USA and returned to this family property to turn it into a hotel. The rooms are historic just as the building but very comfortable. The location is quite walkable to many of the historic sites, museums, and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. '
