'I was the only person staying at this hotel which was a bit disconcerting as it really is in thr middle of nowhere - about 1.3 km off the camino. But it is excellent. The staff could not have been nicer, and more accommodating. Even though i was the only person staying, they still put out the full dinner and breakfast buffet. I was treated like a king! If you want somewhere truly rural, a bit off the camino (i walked back to it the next day in 25 mins), this is an interesting, unique, peaceful...

'This place is absolutely gorgeous. Not only is OLoureiro apartment beautiful, but the entire complex is stunning, with fantastic amenities throughout. The service is exceptional, and the décor and attention to detail are truly impeccable. We are thoroughly impressed and would love to come back very soon. Highly recommended!'

'Not on The Camino to Santiago (2 hours on foot from Palas de Rei) but a great stop if you want an idyllic getaway in the middle of your pilgrimage, gorgeous views and facilities, Gourmet food and extremely delicious dishes you will not find anywhere else typical of Galicia. We were extremely impressed with the two bathroom comfortable accommodations and very spacious layout.'

'The place is at edge of town. Kinda dated design. Had booked it to relax in pool after long day of walking, however the pool was full of young children! Nothing against children, just not what I expected. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.'

'La habitación contratada con Hoteles.com era una Suite con Bañera. No existe la bañera y en recepción me dicen que no hay suites con bañera. No entiendo por qué lo publicitan. Por otra parte el wifi es horrible. No sirve para nada.Lo positivo es que el monasterio es precioso y el entorno también. En eso estamos encantados'
