'This property has a beautiful view of the mountains and is located in very peaceful area. We were able to have a very enjoyable weekend, visiting the Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls. When we returned to the property, our family was able to sit back, eat dinner and relax without being on top of each other. The owner was very reseptive and commincation between us was easy from the time I booked, all the way to the end. I would definitely recommend this property and I look forward to maybe coming...

'Cute, cozy, clean, comfy, quiet! Great wildlife and star gazing from the deck. Had everything we needed, and Dian was so easy to communicate with. Bed was so soft and cozy. Shower was hot with great pressure. My only complaint is we didn't stay longer! '

'This property was absolutely gorgeous! Very clean. Very private. Lovely nature all around. Hot tub was hot and perfectly functional. Grill was clean and also functioned well. Washer and dryer clean and newer model. We would for sure stay here again if in the area! Host was always prompt to respond and informative.'

'One of the most beautiful settings we have ever visited! Beautifully furnished, open plan cabin is truly magical and welcoming. You can wander up to a world class hiking trail from the back deck. Quiet and remote setting with the promised dark sky at night. Sunrise is spectacular! Home is as described.'

The house was a delightful, rustic, hodge-podge of a funky little shack and we loved it!!! The views were f*cking amazing! It was like you could touch the stars. We spent hours watching the sunrise and set. Crestone was a delightful little town. I'm pretty sure there were more deer than people. :) The hosts were very easy to work with...

'Well organized and clean. Most places you stop at the grocery store and you never what you need. Oil, sugar, etc. but we needed very little. They had snacks, movies, popcorn popper. Great host and a beautiful place. '

'It's pretty apparent when you get there why Crestone is considered one of the most spiritual places in the country. I hadn't looked at the town itself before booking because I look at pictures, price and rating. Skyview Terrace checked off all the boxes before I arrived but blew my expectations out of the water once I was there. 'We loved this property... very private, comfortable and some of the most amazing views of the Sangre de Cristos! Dan (the host) was accommodating and active in making sure we had everything we needed. The geodome was a fun experience and gave us plenty of additional room to hang out and sleep. 'We were so impressed - the online pictures didn't convey the spaciousness of the open-concept living room/dining room/kitchen. The beds and linens were luxurious, the kitchen was extremely well-stocked, and the 'extras' were thoughtful and appreciated. The host was so kind to include a welcome gift that was so generous. But mostly the IMMEDIATE repsonse from the owner to our inquiry about replenishing the propane tank for the outdoor fire-pit was very helpful and almost unexpected to have that...

'Great place to stay. Very clean and all check in / check out instructions are clear. Only issues we had was the hot water heater tripped, but Isaline was onnsite within 20 minutes and had it resolved. Will stay here again, if we come through area.'

'Blue Elk is an excellent stay. Vrbo and especially Tracy, the host, were helpful in making reservations and preparation. The site has all the appliances and supplies of home in good working order. The location is breathtaking. We loved the wildlife (although watch out on the road!) and (mostly) quiet, cool weather in late July, but warm blankets too. A great time had by all.'
