'Cabin was great! Beautiful view of the mountains off of the deck. Wildlife every morning and evening. Cabin was clean and well stocked with supplies and accessories. Dean was an amazing host, he was in constant communication with us, before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend this relaxing getaway. We will definitely come back and visit.'

'We absolutely loved this place - we wanted privacy on the mountain and that's what we got! We walked out the door and hiked up a mountain, we drove 5 minutes and checked out Pinkerton Hot Spring, we drove N. 25 minutes and hiked Cascades waterfall! The house has EVERYTHING we needed and was appointed with everything I forgot to bring, a true delight while on vacay with children! The only complaint about our stay - we didn't realize the highway would be so loud. At night there isn't much traffic...

'The site was perfect located, close enough to town but far enough to enjoy the quietness of the mountains and all the beautiful scenery. Once we parked, we never got in our vehicles again until we left. There is plenty of room for vehicles. We brought one bumper pull trailer that parked at the beginning of the driveway. Our gooseneck got left at the bottom of the hill. None of that will detour us from coming back and staying again! Beautiful property and house! 100% worth it! '

'The property in Lake Purgatory drive was perfect for our vacation in July. There was a beautiful view of the mountains and hummingbirds that we enjoyed while relaxing on the back deck. Temperatures were perfect as it is about ten degrees cooler than the city of Durango. All of the accommodations were wonderful. The owners original artwork was a unique touch that we enjoyed. We highly recommend the property!'

'Address was not correct on the email from VRBO. Cabin advertised was not the one we were put in. Floor was not vacuumed. River on property is amazing. Don’t expect much more than a camp house. This was all fine for 4 guys, glad the wives didn’t come lol! Property lacks upkeep. Still a great vacation in Lake city.'

'Our stay at Cliffside cabin beat all of our expectations. The cabin was beautifully set back in the mountains and away from any highway noise. "We were scammed at this hotel!! Do not book here! When we arrived at the given location ( we received an email from the hotel to check-in at a different location) but the door was closed and nobody was there. We phoned the hotel twice and left a message. We than waited another 20 minutes and left, this to look for a different hotel. We than contacted Expedia, to explain what happened. We were told that we should have waited there and that there was no way to get our prepayment back. I am totally dissapointed in this hotel AND the expedia service. Gold member for more than 10 years, but unsure now if i will continue with them"
