Nieuw hotel in opstartfase
Een mooi hotel op een mooie locatie. Het hotel leek echter nog in aanbouw te zijn. Wij waren de eerste bewoners van de kamer. Netjes afgewerkt. Wel wat kleine dingen. Vrij vervelend was dat er in de ochtend geen warm water was. Echt veel te koud om te douchen. Naast het hotel ligt Roxy Beach club in het weekend is van 10AM tot 11PM de geluidsoverlast enorm. De muziek is met gesloten deuren binnen luid te horen en op balkon zitten was uitgesloten. Werkers zijn heel de dag bezig het hotel af te maken. Schilders aan de deuren, tuinmannen bezig met beplanten en andere met het strand gedeelte. Slechts nog maar enkele parasols en nog geen enkel strand bed. Misschien over een jaar beter. De pool/beach bar van het hotel was niet in bedrijf.

super mooie plek GENOTEN
Onze zoon loopt een half jaar stage in sint maarten,dus vandaar dat wij er ook heen wilden,was echt een snoepreisje voor ons,heerlijk weertje,mooie omgeving,lieve mensen,kan niiet beoordelen over het eten van het hotel want onze zoon wou graag bij ons eten dus elke dag gekookt,hij heeft ons veel laten zien van het eiland,tot nu toe de mooiste vakantie

I have been staying here for over 20 years and will continue to do so. Perfect family venue and very well maintained throughout. I am not the type to spend the entire vacation in the hotel, but I have no problem spending time in this one. The Cabana pool and beach area is great and all the rooms have balconies with amazing ocean view.

Absolutely loved everything about the resort. Would give it a 10/10 BUT the bar across the street, Nowhere Special, had live bands playing every night, sometimes until 1:30am, and they were VERY loud. We had a 2-bedroom unit, however, the back bedroom near the street could not be used because of the loud music. Unfortunately, we had to use the somewhat uncomfortable pull-out couch instead. Everything else about this resort was fantastic and would go again but would hopefully get a room in the west wing instead -- much quieter!

My husband and I both agree that this complex is top notch..for any age group. We are seniors and everything including the restaurant, pool, beach with palm leaf shade,. beach towels, were top notch. The area is relatively quiet and walkable including great location to grocery markets and restaurants. Most of the condos overlook the ocean. We hope to return next year.

I always stay at the Royal Palm but was unhappy this time due to the pigeons pooping all over the balcony. Housekeeping came right away and cleaned it thoroughly but the same mess by the pigeons was back the next day.

The Hotel and staff were excellent! The beach was excellent.Only problem we had was the Clubs nearby the Hotel kept us awake most nights since their music was extremely loud. Especially the beach club next door on weekends it was so loud both day and night that we could not stay on the beach. I love music but it was extremely loud and kept us awake most nights.It sounded like front and back of building were competing for who was the loudest. Aside form the loud music the staff and entire hotel was better than our expectation.

My stay here was absolutely amazing and beautiful. It’s in the perfect location near everything which is walking distance. My room was nice clean and the view was breath taking. When I visit the island again I’m definitely staying here again. Book now you won’t be disappointed!!!

Great location and friendly workers
Wonderful location for easy access to many restaurants and markets for food. Plenty of room for our family of four. Very friendly people that worked there. Kenan, Alex, kimani and Kenisha at the bar and pool areas were very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them during our sta. They did their job very well. The only negative was cleaning of the room only once during our week stay and hard to exchange towels when needed in room(not pool/beach). However, Chana at the front desk, was very helpful and asked if we had gotten our towels exchange that we requested and followed up on that. She even remember my name. She was very pleasant and good at her job!

The room looks nice but the hotel location is horrible next to a live music bar that plays super loud almost every day until 1am so there is no way you can sleep. The facility it self is super basic with a very small an not clear pool located on a very not attractive beach. The service is super not friendly, they clean the rooms only once a week and the check out time is at 10am!!!

Newly renovated property. Excellent rooms. Quiet AC. The big issue was noise. We were put right across the street from a restaurant / bar that had live music nearly every night well into the early morning hours. My children could not sleep. Also, you can hear every chair move in the rooms above you. The beach is very nice with access to water sports, but watch our for jellyfish. I had a nasty bite on 1 of the days. I also had 2 bites on the same beach the previous time we came to this resort, so this wasn't a one-off. I guess it depends if you get unlucky with it or not. Bring distilled white vinegar in a small sprayer bottle (under 100 ml if you're not checking in bags) just in case. Spraying the bite gets rid of the pain within a few minutes. The location on Welfare Road makes it very convenient to get to restaurants. We rented a car but you can walk to a number of restaurants as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel but if you have children, make sure to get a room in the quieter section of the resort.

There is a season for the jelly fish, they tend to come on go throughout the year. However your home remedy of white vinegar is the best. c'est la 2e fois que j'y vais et j'y retournerai, la chambre est grande, comfortable, le personnel est vraiment gentil et efficace... le seul, hic, mais ce n'est pas de leur ressort, c'est qu'il y a un bar bruyant tout a côté... sinon, si on a une chambre côté du canal, c'est parfait...
