'This is an honest-to-god motor hotel, located near a Lake Erie beach. It is an economical, clean hotel, with amenities like a kitchen sink, a refrigerator, and a microwave. It has a great deal of space, with a picnic area and a play area for children. If you want a modern hotel with ultra-soft beds and upgraded decor, this isn't your type of place. But if you want to stay somewhere economical to hike, fish, or swim; have a family and would like to stay a few nights and put together your own...

'For the first time ever in 30 years of traveling we walked out. Let’s start with first impressions. The smell in the lobby was terrible, a mix of mustiness, pot, cleaning products and a large bird cage. Then the stairwell to the second floor was somehow worse with carpet that obviously hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. On the second floor we passed a kid who was housekeeping barefoot and shirtless, no joke, carrying armloads of sheets with no shirt on! I thought we still had a health...

'Kamer met badkamer was heel goed, heel comfortabel. Bed heerlijk. Ontbijt is weinig gevarieerd. De salon en bar zouden wat gezelliger kunnen, maar smaken verschillen nu eenmaal. Meisjes aan de receptie waren zeer vrolijk en behulpzaam, en nadat ik mijn iPad vergeten had werd ik gebeld en zou men de iPad opsturen. Nog bedankt.'

'This was a great place to stay with our 2 dogs and a cat! It was very spacious inside with a large yard, and fenced in dog yard. The host was kind and responsive and we have no complaints!'

'The cottage was cute and clean. There were extra blankets and a lot of items that are not provided in most rentals like toilet paper, paper towels, sugar packets, other seasonings, etc. There was also a water dispenser which was great! I could mot find the hair dryer and the ice maker smelled like mildew so I didn’t use it. All around great stay.'

'This place was perfect for our needs, and adorable to boot!! Staying in the barn was not only close to my son and daughter-in-law, but it was fun too. We enjoyed the antique furnishings and could even picture the parts of the barn that we were in when it was a barn. Very cool! This indeed is a great place to stay! Thank you!'
