'The team at Explorer were great to work with. They were super accommodating. We had booked a 3 day stay but the. We realized we needed an extra day. They gave us a late checknout on our first room And then an early check in on our new room. The suite we stayed in was spacious amd clean. The beds were comfortable and the room had a great temp. The linens were clean as well as the towel, which there were plenty. The kichenette worked for our needs.

'We liked our stay here. ALL of the staff were outstanding. The building could certainly use updated mechanicals and walls/ceiling/doors/trim show their age. Not much that staff can do about that. 'We were amusement park hopping, so Quality Lodge was our first and last stop before heading home.
When we walked into the room on stay 1, the room had a distinct smell to it. Not terrible - but not exactly pleasant either. I couldn't place it until I took off my shoes and realized the carpets were wet.....they had just been shampooed. Not sure if this was routine maintenance or if something had happened with the previous guest.
The room for stop 2 smelled more normal.

'Was all I needed for the night after a day at Cedar Point. Looks run down and the shower was in need of a replacement. Loud in the rooms could hear the people above us all night and morning. Conveniently located close to Cedar Point. Pool was nice and clean, was definitely a plus. There is a bowling alley and bar/restaurant across the street.
