'From the minute I arrived I was made to feel welcome. Lovely couple with lovely welcome. Room spotless and amazing comfy bed. Close enough to walk to town, but far enough to be quiet. Great little honesty bar ideal for last minute snack. Would definitely recommend and stay again. '

'After a last minute trip for my daughters birthday and a quick phone call with John, we booked three rooms. Upon arrival John met us and showed us the rooms and gave us some information about the local area. Rooms were spot on, amazing location and a quality price. As a commuter, I do not often leave feedback as I stop out quite a lot, however the family rooms are amazing and I will be back again with my family!'

'Hotel situated in a quite part of the town, yet not far from sea front and shops. Our room on ground floor was very good, clean warm , breakfast very very good, loads to choose from full breakfast piping hot. Can not find any fault with the hotel.'

'I had a really good stay at the Southwold. The owners were helpful and friendly and the B&B was clean and tidy. The breakfasts in the morning were also large and tasty. I had the single room right up on the top floor, which was up a normal flight of stairs, then a second steeper set which I didn't mind but others may have trouble with. I also had a separate large bathroom, which was on the other side of the landing. However this was no trouble for me. There was a bit of a walk to the pier and...

'This was our fourth stay at The Balmoral. We've stayed in some of the other larger hotels in Skeggy and haven't been to impressed. We found this one four years ago and haven't bothered looking for anywhere else since. Lovely little hotel and we'll be back again next year. '

'Apartment is in a great location close to beach & attractions. Staff were welcoming & friendly and let us check in 2 hours early which was appreciated as it was raining. Apartment is well presented but very grubby and dated. Found the room & pillows to smell of grease/cooked food, carpet was filthy & beds were so uncomfortable we cut the trip short by a night. Overall not the worst place I have stayed, but definitely not worth the money & won’t be returning.'

'could not fault anything we had a lovely relaxing time the camp is ideal the shop is well stocked the caravan was clean and comfy with lovely large sofas and big tv large veranda which our dog loved parking outside of van i would stay again and recommend to friends and family'
