'We really enjoyed our stay here, you WILL need to rent a car (ideally one with 4WD/AWD) to get around the island, so keep that in mind. The family that runs the place is super cool and helpful. 'There were many great things about St John USVI, however: 1. You will absolutely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The grade leading to the Villa is about 40%. 2. 'A welcome relief after an unanticipated start, Avis (STT) gave our Jeep away. With our free-wheeling plans dashed, we had to use taxis.
