'Fabulous location. Beautiful old gem with plenty of room and a variety of gathering places for a group of friends. Walking distance to many facilities and lots of onsite parking spaces. The walk around the nearby lake is a fabulous option. Would book again. Fast and Easy to communication with host. '

'Check in was very easy but we had a problem with our billing invoice that was unresolved by the time we left. We changed the dates of our stay and feel we were charged for six nights rather than five. Host was unable to resolve the issue.House was spacious with a lovely sitting room in the back. The yard was unkept and outdoorfurniture was too dirty to sit on. The inside of the house could have been cleaner. The beds were not comfortable and the bedrooms were small. No dryer made washing and...

'Hard surface floors not clean enough, some stove controls defective, towels & sheets - new, but not washed. New fridge with packing tape still on shelves. Yard awful. Exterior areas dirty.'

'The house was a great size a mixture of old world charm and modern amenities in the living kitchen and bathrooms. Very clean and plenty of good quality linen. The central location made it easy to walk to cafes, restaurants and shopping, which was great with young children. Our host always responded quickly and was very helpful. Would totally recommend this house for a getaway. We certainly could have stayed longer.'

'Property manager was very accommodating to let us drop our luggage before the standard 3pm check in time.Property was very central and super close to Lake Wendouree.However:-Dirty towel and dirty black rug was left behind in the bathroom from previous guest.Room no. 3 had a pungent fishy/ salty smell (i guessed it could have been dirty cloth from the cleaner, used to wiped down the room with).There was a bucket in the laundry trough with dirty sheets soaking.Room no. 1 had bedsheets with hair...

'This was a charming home in a lovely location on a leafy street not far from the lake. The photos understate how nice the home is. There is a pleasant outlook from the dining/kitchen area across the backyard, and a leafy outlook from the front windows. The home has been very thoughtfully presented and equipped by the friendly host. Highly recommended and would definitely love to stay here again if in the area.'
