This home is very welcoming with nice beach decorations and lots of room for interacting with everyone. The dining table and bar could comfortably seat 10-12. The kitchen was well stocked and the K Cups for the supplied Keurig coffee maker came in handy. The quiet surroundings and ability to fish from the dock was relaxing after our drive in from Raleigh and after hectic wedding preparation. The owner was very easy to communicate with and welcomed our input. The value for the money is great!

We enjoyed our stay in this sweet farmhouse. The kitchen is well supplied as well as the rest of the house. We spent a lot of time sitting out on the porch enjoying the view. It was the perfect short but sweet get away to visit with local family. Angie was very easy to work with and always promptly responded.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house on the water! The view was absolutely stunning—perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. There was plenty of space for our group, and the layout made it easy to enjoy both indoor and outdoor time. Communication with the host was clear and friendly, and we felt very welcomed. We’ll definitely be booking again in the future—highly recommend this peaceful getaway spot!

First off, Angie is very quick to respond and made check in / check out super easy. I want to thank her for sharing her beautiful home with my family. The view of the river is amazing. After our days out we could not wait to sit on the wraparound porch or in the reclining sofa or swivel chair in the living room. They are so comfortable. The kitchen is just as pictured and the huge island is a great place to snack and have good conversations. It’s truly the heart of the home. We only used the two downstairs bedrooms but they were both very comfortable and we all slept wonderfully. So nice to have enough bathrooms for everyone also. Plenty of room to park. Took us about 20 min to get to the resort areas but we wanted something away from all the crowds and this was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay. Especially, the visiting dog Dolly. There was an osprey nest in the back yard. Loved visiting the dock. The rental fee was affordable. I will definitely be returning. I will bring a hairdryer next time. The house was still in the renovation process, Once completed it will be beautiful.

What a fantastic place to stay. Our family stayed here three weeks. The home was clean and accurately represented in the listing. The location was perfect between our kids who live in base housing and access to the beach. We loved having the wraparound deck and enjoying long mornings sipping on coffee. We cooked a majority of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked with needed utensils. We had many wonderful family dinners around the large dining table. We 100% plan to visit again next summer and want to stay at the same place. Angie, the host was really easy to work with and super sweet. Highly recommend this place for your stay!!

6/10 – Matig

Upon arriving at the house, there appeared to have been a lot of remodeling projects ongoing throughout the home. There was pet dust on some of the beds and clutter in common spaces such as cupboards and closets. The home was adequately appointed though more bedding/ blankets might make it more enjoyable for guests in-order to feel more comfortable. The site lists that there are games available but a deck of cards doesnt seem they were very sparsely supplied
