'I only stayed one night and departed very early.'

'Online it looked like the place had been recently renovated and very nice. Although, it had been renovated some, our room wasn’t the cleanest. The bed sheets were okay. The comforters old, I never use those anyways. The thing that grossed me out the most is that behind the night stand there remnants of weed and safety glasses, making me wonder more about the place. I noticed this when I went to pull it out to access the outlet. There was also canned food in one of drawers that I didn’t notice...

'The bathroom was disgusting, the bathtub was dirty and rusted. They offered a continental breakfast, let’s just say we passed on that.We’ve stayed here many times in the past, either it’s new owners or the owners don’t really care. We just needed a place to stay for the night. If your going to stay in Bad Axe, do yourself a favor and stay at the Holiday inn.'

'The room i was in had an awful smell that I couldn't identify and there were no other rooms available. luckily I was only there 2 nights over priced for sure with fees and extra charges, but had no other options locally and there was a baseball tournament going on so there were no options close. Only ended up there because the hotel I was staying at for work was over booked that weekend and I didnt reserve early enough for the weekend... and the deadbolt didnt work. And the house keeping knocked...

'My husband booked this motel for us for Valentine's Day. It was $180 for one night for the room with the jetted tub. When we pulled up, it looked a little rough, but we only care about the inside anyway. It was advertised as a queen bed, and it was a full bed. We were only staying for 1 night so we honestly didn't feel like taking time out of our plans to go to the office and complain about any of this, so I will say we did not give them a chance to fix it. '
