Husband and I stayed over the Labor Day weekend. Check-in was easy-peasy. Communication with owners was great! House was super clean. There is one tv in the living room, none in the bedrooms. Air conditioning worked great. Hot tub was amazing! Apple orchards all over the whole city. Found a cute farmer's market that had the best peaches. The yard is big and it's really quiet, loved that! For activities, we went to Sodus Point Beach Park (15 min drive), which had a cute beach and a lighthouse you can walk out to. You cannot climb to the top of the lighthouse. They had a great ice cream place on the street just before the beach and we ate our cones on the beach. My favorite place was Chimney Bluffs State Park (15 min drive, $5 parking fee, bring bug spray if summer). If you take the cliff path, there are awesome, huge spires made of sand & earth right on the shoreline of Lake Ontario. Looks like a giant was trying to build sandcastles. Great for taking pics. We also went to Waterloo Premium Outlets (30 min drive), which was the largest outlet shopping we've ever seen. For restaurants, we ate at Nick's, which is a family restaurant and was nice. Also had pizza & wings (can't remember the name of the place). Overall, we loved are mini-vacation!
