'Very clean, quite and comfortable '

'Mike was a great host and was FAST at communicating. I need to comment that I only gave 4 stars on cleaning. On special request, the host got the house ready a week early on the condition I agreed that it was not quite ready to his normal standards and we were the first guests ever in his new property. The yard was huge, no next neighbors crowding you. Kitchen has everything. Bathrooms furnished with towels, soaps, shampoo, etc. The river is just behind the house. We had fun wading,...

'I didn't like being penalized by Expedia a whole night's cost for canceling one of the room reservations. I didn't like how the facility smelled of mildew. I didn't like how the whirlpool jets didn't work. I didn't like there being no kleenex in the bathroom, no cart for my luggage and no cups in my room. And I didn't like that there was no front desk person to take care of my needs.'

'Have to push the doors closed fairly hard. Only available room in the town however so better than sleeping in the car. Cereal and coffee were alright and their was an ashtray outside so didn't have to litter. TV broke and soap/lotion dispenser broken. Constant on and off ac with a loud bang and then silence and then another bang for ac back on. Amerivue is fairly run down as well but family owned and a pool'

'I really liked our room with the balcony looking out at the river. The hotel is in a nice location. You need to ask for ice at the front desk but they are very helpful in getting it. No microwave in the room but didn’t need it anyway. We ate breakfast at Papa’s at the hotel in the morning and it was excellent. We took a riverboat cruise and walked to the boat, nice and close. I would stay here again.'
