'We had the pleasure of staying for 9 weeks in this great apartment and having the benefit of your own private garden with the pool just outside the the gate. The owner was always very accommodating. The location where it was situated was a short distance to the beach were we walked our dogs regularly. The pubs/restaurants were fairly local and the staff were always friendly. 'About a 15 minute drive outside the town of Nijar, voted one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. The house is simple, but very clean and in a nice quiet location. It is located on the Ruta del agua (water route), which was a perfect adventure for our 10 year old son. The location is up in the mountains, so walking is quite strenuous, but worth the effort. You can drive to the coast in about 40 minutes, with beautiful secluded beaches and great walking areas, as well as plenty of local shops...

'The view is insane, the sound of quietness and waves is just what you need to calm down. The house, pool etc. are clean. All needs like toaster, dishwash, washingmachine, towels are there. Its close to various beaches, many places to eat and the big mercadona. Communication with owner was oustanding clear. Worth every penny if you ask me. Recommend car-hire tho, due to up/downhill streets.'

'Arnold en Carla hebben hun zaakjes goed voor elkaar. De Casita is van alle gemakken voorzien en gezellig ingericht. Enkele extra pluspunten: keuken klein, maar prima uitgerust. Bedden voortreffelijk en overal zon rondom het huisje wat belangrijk is in de winterperiode. De pelletkachel komt dan ook goed van pas. Arnold en Carla gaven welkome tips en stonden voor ons klaar. Dank jullie wel, wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. Frits en Paula'

'Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr zugesagt, 3 verschiedene Terassen, eine am Vordereingang, eine nach hinten und eine über das komplette Dach - Perfekt. Ausstattung in der Küche ist gut, alles Funktioniert. Waschmaschine und Bügeleisen ist vorhanden und funktioniert. Bettwäsche war keine vorhanden, hatten wir auch nicht erwartet, allerdings auch kein Unterbett, nur Kissen. Sollte man Wissen, so das man sich etwas selber mitbringt - wir hatten wenigstens 2 Decken mit und somit kein Problem....

'The house feels a bit tired inside, there is no air con and no wifi, a dated kitchen and a gas bottle that you have to turn on then off again for hot water. But the location is great, there are lots of outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the views and eat and drink at and a great private pool.'

'Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans la villa Sotavento. Elle est très bien équipée et très propre. Quand nous sommes arrivés nous avons été très bien accueillis par Alvaro, les lits étaient faits. Il y a beaucoup de marches d'escaliers mais la vue vaut la peine 😊'

'We stayed in Mojácar playa in a lovely 2 bedroom townhouse . It was in a slightly hilly location so not for people with walking difficulties really . It has a community pool nearly and the beach was a 5 minute walk away . There was plenty of good restaurants and bars near by. We stayed for 11 nights and throughly enjoyed our stay . 'We vonden het heel leuk om daar te verblijven. De weinige buren die daar wonen zijn allemaal heel vriendelijke mensen. Enkel spijtig dat er geen vaatwasser aanwezig was in het huisje, wat maakt dat we alle dagen moesten afwassen met de hand en zeker in ons geval, voor een lang verblijf. Dat vond ik wel spijtig, gezien de prijs die we moesten betalen.'

'We were pleasantly surprised by this small apartement that had everything we needed. We were welcomed with a bottle of Cava and other goodies. And the apartment smelled lovely, was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The curved smart TV is large and WIFI never failed. 'Overall, a fantastic stay for a great price. The location is spot on for walking to the local restaurants. Everything is available on site including a launderette and a fantastic new gym. My only negative is there is very little sound proofing in the rooms so you hear everything going on in all of the neighbouring apartments. I would stay again but take ear plugs!!'
