'Beautiful apartment. Very well stocked with extra pillows, blankets and towels. Love the spa in the bedroom. The private backyard was our favorite feature. Every morning, we sat out back, listening to the birds and enjoying the amazing view. 'Great small hotel. Breakfast every morning overlooking the lake was wonderful. The primary staff who was there was Alice and she was helpful and friendly. A couple things to note is this is about a 15 minute walk into town and 20 minutes to the train. If you have a lot of luggage, consider a taxi, the staff will arrange a taxi, just do that ahead of time. Getting from town to town was easy via the ferry. 'I was a bit disappointed with Beretta. After being recommended by the a prime travel guide I expected more. Beginning with the positive: it has a premier location just a block down the street from varenna train station.
