Leuk gelegen en rustig hotel. Gezellige en knusse atmosfeer en redelijk modern. Fijn verblijf als je tussendoor tripjes rondom de Amalfikust hebt gepland. Hotelkamer was netjes en heerlijk koel, mede dankzij de airco. Hier en daar mogen ze wel wat puntjes op de I zetten of wat kleine dingetjes vernieuwen/aanpakken maar dat is niks wat de ervaring verpest.

Kamer geboekt met zeezicht en balkon. Bij aankomst blijkt deze kamer niet te bestaan want dit is enkel voor 2 personen. Toegewezen kamer ligt tegen de straatkant (heel lawaaierig door de oude ramen), uitzicht tegen rotswand. Het ergste vonden we eigenlijk de vochtige, stinkende geur in de kamer. Voor ons nooit meer!

Prettig hotel, met eigen parkeerplaats
Prettig hotel, met eigen parkeerplaats laat zich makkelijk vinden aan de rand van het drukke centrum van Sorrento. Er is een klein zwembad met gratis handdoeken en ligstoelen, waar je heerlijk kan zonnen. Binnen 100 meter zijn al wat winkeltjes en een wasserette. Het hotel heeft een prima restaurant maar staat op loopafstand van het centrum waar meer keus is. Vriendelijk personeel.

Hotel Rivage Sorrento was prettig gelegen bij alle bezienswaardigheden.
Hotel Rivage Sorrento was een prettig hotel om te verblijven voor 2 nachten. Het hotel was centraal gelegen met het centrum op max. 10 min. loopafstand. Het personeel was hulpvaardig maar sprak slecht Engels. De kamers waren prettig, ruim en schoon naar onze mening. Het ontbijtbuffet was voor Nederlandse standards wat matig maar voldoende voor een licht ontbijt.

I really loved my stay there , breakfast was great, views amazing,it was off season so did not use the pool but the pool looked great too, rooms gigantic compared to other European hotel standards , overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay was perfect. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The only issue we had were ants on the balcony, but they took care of that immediately. The breakfast that was provided in the morning was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Originally we chose this hotel because it did have a parking option. The parking lot is quite small but we did have no problem getting a space upon our return from exploring each day. We found this hotel to be absolutely charming and beautiful The room was spacious and clean. The bed linens were very nice. Bonus - the huge patio overlooking the water directly off of the room. Stunning views all around. The hotel rate included breakfast daily, which was very nicely presented and abundant. We absolutely loved this place and would return in a heartbest. Sorrento is wonderful and the food is beyond great.

Great property. We stayed 5 nights, and had a very pleasant time. Clean property, with helpful and courteous staff. Very nice restaurant facilities on site. Breakfast was included in the room booking, which was a great bonus for the mornings. We would definitely stay again on a return visit to Sorrento. Thank you to the management and staff, for a very pleasant stay.

Great location near a popular part of Sorrento. Unfortunately we had water leaking from the ceiling in our room from the AC unit and they were unable to fix it one night and could not offer us another room. All of our clothes and things felt damp.

We had an error in our booking (my error) and we arrived a day later than the hotel expected. The staff were very helpful with organizing alternative solutions. The hotel is clean and comfortable with amazing views from the cafe/bar. Shopping and restaurants are very walkable from the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rivage, while my wife and I stayed in Sorrento! Both excellent value and location (can’t say that for many hotels in Sorrento), it is just down the street from one of the main streets in Sorrento, Corso Italia. Also 10 minute walking distance from the Marina and 15 min walk to where the ferries leave for Capri, Naples, Positano etc. We were on the 3rd floor (the highest floor that’s not the lobby) and had a beautiful view of the Bay of Naples and the cliffs to our left. Pool was lovely and not crowded at all in fact the night we used it we were the only ones there. Concierge and staff were great as well, and the included breakfast was nice to have. All in all an excellent stay and I would definitely recommend and stay again!

I loved the location as it was close to many restaurants and shops. Beautiful view from our balcony. Room was big but seemed kind of empty. Fridge was very small. Would have been nice to get water every day. And we did find it a bit loud. But overall it was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great as well.

We had a really large family room with 2 bathrooms - it was much larger than expected. The breakfast was lovely. The swimming pool was small but perfect to cool off. Downsides were that our room looked on to a wall and had no balcony so it was very dark - not really a pleasant place for us adults to sit once the children were in bed. The storage wasn't very good - there were no draws at all and hardly any hangers so we had to live out of the suitcases for the week which made the room cluttered as we had 4 and so we needed to leave open on the available surfaces: sofa/table/dressing tables etc.

Hotel Rivage is in a perfect location to explore sorrento and you can also easily access the port with a short walk to reach places like Capri, Amalfi and positano. The hotel has easy parking however this is quite expensive. The breakfast selection was very good and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and was kept clean and tidy.

The hotel is perfectly located to be next to the main area with all the restaurants and stores. The staff was always super nice and they help me with the air conditioning that wasn’t cold enough when we arrived.

Dream trip in Sorrento.
It was extremely good for everything. The hotel is very clean, people are so nice, views and comfort are also very good. But I think it would be nice if we get some options for making tea or coffee in the room (which is so useful after a tiring day), ironing the clothes and if possible some kind of body lotions which we can apply either because of dry skin or after exposing ourselves in the sun (this is more so as we are not allowed to carry with us because of the security restrictions).

Check in and out was easy and the staff were friendly. Easy 5 mins walk from the centre of Sorrento. The room was nice and clean with a good balcony and ammenities. Could do with maybe a kettle and coffee or tea and some pictures up for a more comfortable feel but that doesnt detracked from what is a good room. Breakfast was excellent, great staff service and a choice of a hot breakfast, pastries, drinks, fruit etc. All in a good hotel in a great location.
