The owner was very nice and accommodating, asked every couple days if there was any issues or items needed. There's three units in the back yard of their home. Their pool is adjacent to their house, so we didn't feel comfortable using it. Overall it was a wonderful experience, a very tidy and well equipped rental with serene and peaceful garden to enjoy. Beds were comfortable but the sheets were horrible.. they were clean but worn out re the elastic grips to keep them on the mattress. Every morning we were in contact with the mattress, gross. The only valid complaint we had, not a big deal.

Owner answered any questions we had and made us feel very comfortable. The villa was simple but more than enough, and had a beautiful front yard. I’d love to come back here again with my family. Highly recommend!

We met very kind people over there: Mr. Antony is a good person and his family too. I felt fine and comfortable. I enjoyed a very quiet place together with my family. I will visit it again any time.

I loved the tranquil environment of the property. It gave me complete privacy and security with all the amenities one could ask for. Room safe, ironing board plus iron, clean towels, kitchen supplies, AC, ( most important fast) Wi-Fi, cable tv, and 2 comfortable beds, hair dryer, clean hot shower and modern toilet.

very relaxing, away from the city. location off the path but close to walk into the city. Better than staying in a resort for me. very peaceful.

Not a hotel ... and that is a good thing.
Cabana Victoria is actually a bungalow in the backyard of a private residence, run by a wonderful young couple with a 16-year-old son and a 5-year old daughter. All of them were very welcoming and extraordinarily gracious and helpful. The bungalow (or cabana) is less than a mile from Playa Sousa, an easy downhill walk. (Best way to get back is by hopping on the back of a motorcycle. Cost is only 50 pesos.) The hosts, Anthony and Cesarina, know everyone in the town, and their advice and guidance will keep you from getting overcharged. Just ask, and they will tell. Navigating Sosua can be a little tricky without some local knowledge, and the hosts at Cabana Victoria have no hidden agendas. The bungalow has a kitchenette and a refrigerator, and it is a good idea to keep some food and drinks on hand in the event of a rainy day (The DR has been getting a lot of those recently). There is a supermarket right at the bottom of the hill on the way to the beach. If you require a hotel, this is not the place for you. But if you want to go just a little bit off the beaten path, it is perfect. The main house is beautiful and has a swimming pool for the use of the guests, and the hosts will make you feel like a member of their family. Truly wonderful people. On my second day there, they invited me to their weekly Sunday barbeque. Whenever I needed a ride or a bit of guidance, they were always there for me ... or available by phone.

Nice hotel with wonderful owners
I had a nice time staying at the Cabana Victoria. Initially, it was a bit difficult to locate being offset from the beach and the city, however, I was warmly greeted by the owners soon after arriving. The hotel is almost like a guest house which is behind the house of the owners. Beautiful gardens and the scenery is unbelievable.

Great Stay will be back
Had a great stay. Had one issue and lock door on myself but someone was there with extra key to let me back in no problem. Cleaning lady also returned earings tht were misplace. The grocery store is on main road. A little farther than you would want to walk.

Excellent hotel with a great staff.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap hotel. You get a lot more than what you pay for. Although the place is somewhat far from the beach and other sites, the staff are kind enough to drive you anywhere at no cost. Overall the place is well maintained and clean.

Wonderful I hope to return again and again
My first time in the Caribbean and I couldn't have been happier with our stay....the room was clean, fresh comfortable and our hosts were so hospitable and kind..I've already sent pictures to our friends telling them to be sure to stay....the grounds were beautiful as well.I've stayed in 5 star hotels on my many businesses trips in the USA and this haven was comparable if not better.
