I never received correspondence telling me how to gain access to the property (code to unlock the front door), where to find towels or how to navigate the television remote controls. I was lucky enough to run into another guest, who told me to check my spam folder for a message containing these and other details. Alas, no message was received. I did get a text with a screen shot containing the access code, but nothing else of value.
I did, however, receive the news that the water heater was not working. The offer to allow me to cancel without charge was not comforting, considering it got to my phone as I arrived at the property.
All of which made the fact that I could not lock the door to my room not surprising at all.
So, except for the absence of a code to enter the property, the inability to lock my room, the lack of warm water and no idea how to use the tv, everything was fine.
