'If an IKEA opened a beach motel it would look like the Surfside! Room was bare, cool and clean. The entire place (rooms and common areas) have the same flooring that was sticky no matter where you walk. If they un-sticky the floors this place is a cute little 10/10. The rest of it was really clean. People were really friendly, location is great.'

'This is my third or fourth night staying here in a couple of months. Generally it’s fine for the money. Bare bones. Nice beds. Comfortable. But this last time, the TV remote only worked if I was 3 inches away from the TV and the hot water took about 10 minutes to warm up in the evening. It warmed up right away in the morning.'

'We booked last minute… our room was definitely out dated and the hall way had a smell… there was an air purifier in the hall way trying to mitigate the odor. Our room was spacious, but old. It seemed like the other rooms were renovated but ours was not, it did not match the pop. There were no towels for the pool. The breakfast was good. My kids really liked the eggs. It was not what we are used to but we were literally passing through on a road trip.'

'The Marriott is such a pretty little hotel out of the way in a nice location in Trumbull, CT. The rooms are very clean with comfy beds. The hotel itself is so nice with many comfy seating areas everywhere, gorgeous massive fireplace in lobby and a nice restaurant called Parallel Post, which has a yummy, albeit small menu. Hotels are surprisingly expensive in the Norwalk / Stamford area so shopping for a deal is critical. At this price point through Expedia breakfast was NOT included, so a hotel that includes breakfast may be a better value.
