'This boutique-style hotel was everything we needed and more. We were only passing through, so we only got to stay one night. The Surfside was so cozy and charming. You walk out and boom, you are on the beach. The walkable restaurant choices have great food. The room was spacious, the bed was huge (and so so cozy!). I loved everything about it. I wish I could have stayed longer!'

'Good location, close to Norwalk but in a very quiet and peaceful area. Even with ongoing renovation, we had a great stay and enjoyed the pool and breakfast (not-included).
This doesn't affect review and it was situational but the fire alarm was triggered while we were at the pool (6pm) but everything was back to normal in 10 minutes.'

'We're repeat guests and my only complaint is about the laundry facilities. It requires $5 in quarters to wash and dry a load, so if you don't have cash, you have to walk down to the corner store, get cash from the ATM there, come back to the front desk and have them change it into quarters. Theres no way to have laundry fees billed to your room or use a credit card. Who actually carries cash these days, especially 20 large coins??
Other than that (and the expensive parking fee), this hotel is...

'Great weekend getaway from NYC! Love that you can take MetroNorth and walk to this hotel which has large efficiency rooms! Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Facility was very clean. Free breakfast had a lot of choices (not just bagged muffins, LOL). The rooftop bar is really fun and has a great view. SoNo has a lot of restaurants, great breweries, and a nice beach nearby! '

'Prijs kwaliteit was voldoende, de kamers waren schoon, echter waren de kamers zeer gehorig. De slaapbank is niet op te liggen ivm ijzeren veren in het matras, zlefs niet voor kinderen.
Mijn kinderen (natuurlijk blond) hadden gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad voor 15 minute, hierdoor werdt hun haar en zwemkleding groen. Blijkbaar teveel chloor. Nu enkele dagen later heft het nog steeds een groene gloed en kan ik de zwemkleding weggooien. Ik had hier netjes melding van gemaakt bij de receptie,...

'We stayed one night as a family. Staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet wasn’t huge but well-stocked with a mix of hot and cold items. You can tell it’s had a facelift. Overall really clean, just some minor things like old/dingy light switches. The gym was bright with new equipment. Would definitely stay again.'
