'The reception staff was extraordinary. When I was checking in, Phyllis noticed a man come in and look my way. She asked if he was with me (he was), noticing he seemed interested in me. I appreciate her concern for my safety! She also told us about nearby restaurants that offer discounts to people staying at the hotel.'

'Pictures are very deceiving. Room was okay with a jet tub in it. Actually quite a large room. But toilet barely flushed, couldn’t get my outdated shower door to close all the way, no refrigerator which while traveling we like for cold drinks, multiple stains on the rug, and when checking out the tub had a cockroach crawl out of the faucet. One plus - the large vanity mirror was updated and very nice and bright. With all the negatives we decided to skip the very small continental breakfast.'

'The second floor is in need of washroom overhaul. I have stayed on the first floor before so I know the hotel is good, but the second floor washrooms were gross so now that I know that I might not book on expedia again so that I can make a request for the first floor. The best part of this hotel is the pool which is very well maintained and beautiful.'

'This is an incredibly nice hotel with lots of interesting artifacts on display, an excellent conference room, nice continental breakfast, and very comfortable and spacious rooms. There are no elevators but there are only 2 floors. This may influence your decision whether to stay here if stairs are a problem for you. The staff members are articulate, very friendly and helpful. There is a local college at which many of the staff attend when not working at the hotel. The hotel offers snacks...

'First night, okay. Second, third, etc neighbors jumping, bumping loud music most the night until I had to call the front desk two nights in a row. They have workers in and they’re top priority. Not us traveling peasants lol. If you wanna party, check in; if you want quiet go elsewhere'

'Good hotel, but you can tell it is an old property compared to the other options at this exit. Met our needs for an overnight trip but nothing else. Stairs super squeaky, like the floor below the carpet was about to crumble. Back door had a rock propping it open every time we came down the stairs, so our safety at times felt questionable. Probably won’t ever go here again. Worth the extra money to stay somewhere else.'

'All though we did not use, the property has a restaurant and bar. Parking was plentiful, elevators to upper floors and clean well equipped rooms. The receptionist could have been more helpful however she was not rude, just didn't give any information without being asked. We did not have breakfast but read it would be surcharged and I prefer hotels that provide breakfast included in the price all though many are becoming pretty inadequate.'

'Beds were comfy! However: upon entering the room, toilet was not clean (seriously noticeable)..shower had an actual "booger" on the wall at eye level or something that resembled a lizard turd?? Yuck! Lamp shades all of them must have been there during the depression with the amount of filth and very visible staining on all edges.. yuck yuck!! Large crowds I found out every night after work hangs outside our room..yeah...ugh..room 106 btw. No coffee supplies or shampoo or soap (empty). Pool had...

'Staff was very friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean with comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. Location is great-we were in town for the Air Force Museum, and this hotel is right across the street. Breakfast was fine...a standard complimentary hotel breakfast. My only criticism is the coffee at breakfast. It's that terrible post-mix machine coffee, rather than brewed. I'm a bit of a coffee addict, and this just didn't do it for me. 'Amazing hotel: feels brand new. Nice porch with rocking chairs in front of the hotel where you can sit with your drinks. Very laidback. Room was very clean and again felt very new. Parking was very easy. Reception staff was all right, but felt a bit distant (at several occasions). '
