'Historic property with tons of character. We had a group of 5 couples, so each having access to their own bathroom was fabulous. Hanging out on the front porch was a great area to socialize. Highly recommend.'

'Tremendous work done by owner to keep the Victorian detail authentic in ways possible to do so. I would put in a bar in the Gold Suite to help people get in and out of the tub/shower.'

It was very easy to book and the hosts responded immediately when we sent a message. It was super clean and the beds were very comfy! Lakeside Coffee Co was right next door with delicious coffee and pastries. We will definitely book again!!'

'I tried calling owner several times throughout day we were arriving to tell them we were going to be close to end of check in time. No one answered and voice mail box was full so couldn’t leave a message. I messaged the owner thru Expedia as well with no response. We got there and lights were on in the house and in back. I went to front door and thankfully looked down after climbing porch steps as all the porch boards were removed and it was dark so could have been a disaster. The Hitching Horse...
