'Edward and Caroline are very friendly and the barn delivers on feeling historical. The bathroom amenities are very nice, and that it's walkable to Cookham's high street is quite nice, and I appreciated having tea and juice. It was important to me to have parking onsite - and the parking is actually on the road (I normally drive on the opposite side of the road and wanted to have the simplest of parking experiences). 'Our host was accommodating he let us check in early and bought a new dinner set the next day when I alerted him. I liked the fact that parking came included and it was centrally located. We did have a few problems such as the excess dust and dirt under the sofa, the uncomfortable bed, the linen that really needs changing (it’s been washed too many times) and the dishwasher wasn’t functioning.
