Hoog op de heuvel gelegen met panoramisch uitzicht op de bergen en de hele dag zon is dit toevluchtsoord als thuis in de heuvels van South Lake Tahoe. Biedt adembenemende uitzichten die worden vastgelegd vanuit bijna elke kamer, evenals vanaf het 2e verhaaldek dat zich over de volledige breedte van het huis uitstrekt.

BBQ of ontspan op het dek in het grote bubbelbad voor 8 personen met uitzicht op Mt. Tallac op de achtergrond en prachtige vergezichten op de vallei beneden. Of geniet van het interieur van het huis met zijn grote speelkamer, pooltafel, tafelvoetbal, grote tv's, gastronomische keuken, sauna en meer.

De locatie van het pand biedt ongelooflijke privacy, maar het is nog steeds slechts een korte rit naar Heavenly Ski Resort, Sierra at Tahoe, Camp Richardson en Pope Beach. Daarnaast ligt het meer Fallen Leaf op minder dan 1,5 km van het huis en biedt het prachtige vissen, wandelpaden, zwemmen en een jachthaven met varen, kajakken en meer. Ons huis ligt op slechts 5 minuten van waar Highway 50 Lake Tahoe Blvd kruist.

Het huis is perfect voor gezinnen die genoeg slaapkamers en ruimte willen hebben om samen van hun tijd te genieten. Het bovenste gedeelte van het hoofdgebouw heeft hoge plafonds, een geweldige grote kamer, een grote loft-speelruimte, een gastronomische keuken en een ruim terras en spa. De open plattegrond is perfect om te ontspannen samen met familie, een lekkere maaltijd te koken en te genieten van het binnenleven buiten.

Het hok is uitgerust met een minibar, pooltafel, tafelvoetbal, xboxes en drie 65-inch tv's. Perfect om te gamen of een weekend van het marsgekke toernooi te kijken.

De eerste verdieping is ook erg mooi, met drie slaapkamers en een eigen woonkamer met grote flatscreen-tv en een sauna.

De hoofdslaapkamer is ingericht met een kingsize bed, een zithoek, open haard, tv en een aangrenzende hoofdbadkamer. De master badkamer is spa-waardig met een jacuzzi, inloopdouche en dubbele wastafels.

De andere 4 slaapkamers zijn goed ingericht met extra koning en koningin / dubbele bedden, evenals een kamer met twee stapelbedden (komt in december2019, momenteel 3 tweelingen).

Great family house in the woods

The house was delightful. Big bedrooms and bathrooms, and two living rooms, with an expansive kitchen and eating area as well as an entire upstairs floor stocked with games. It was quite and peaceful, and our family of 10 had a great time.

Amazing Stay!

We came with a large group to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and the house did not disappoint. The views are even more magical than advertised. The property is centrally located, yet you still feel immersed in nature—with scenic trails right outside the door. The house was spotless and spacious, comfortably accommodating our entire group. Highly recommend!

Our group had an amazing time at this home. The pictures did not do it justice. It was incredibly spacious and had every comfort imaginable, not to mention the amazing views! GORGEOUS LOCATION AND PROPERTY!

Overall the property was great, and had a great time in Tahoe. Location wise, it was close to grocery stores, food spots and hike trails. The location has gorgeous views. Communication with owners was simple. Sauna and Hot tubs were great amenities in the house to use. I recommend this rental for any going to tahoe.

This place is much more impressive than the photos do justice. Located on a dead end hillside, the view from the front of the house is incredible. The big deck provides a great place to take in the views with a cup of coffee or grill some dinner. Lots of natural sunlight in the kitchen and living room. Comfortable beds, plenty of sleeping arrangements and extra blankets and pillows. Game room loft was perfect for playing pool while watching sports. Location is easy enough to reach South Lake restaurants, grocery stores, casinos, etc by rental car. Ample parking space in garage and driveway. The hot tub, steam shower, and sauna make a perfect at home spa. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book this place again.

South Lake Gem

House was perfect for our family reunion. Great location near South Lake but off the beaten path to get some privacy. The pictures of the property surrounding the house doesn’t do it justice. Very spacious inside and plenty of room for a big room. Chris was great at checking in on us during our stay and gave awesome recommendations around town. Will be staying here again next time I’m in town!

Tahoe Mountain Retreat

The property and location were perfect! If you like to hike, there are numerous trails close by and one trail steps from the house. Fallen Leaf Lake is just a short drive, by bike or walk down the road. If you have kids, there's a fishing pond down the road for them to enjoy. Camp Richardson, Pope Beach, Tallac/Pope Estates are a short drive away. The house was beautiful with breath taking views of the surrounding mountains which you can enjoy on the deck. The property is very quiet and secluded. I highly recommend for family and friends.

New Years Ski Getaway

The photos do not do this place justice. As soon as we arrived to the secluded property we were blown away by the 180 view of the mountains and open reserve. Chris was super communicative and available before, during and after our stay. This cabin has so much to offer, short ride to town, as well as easy Uber pickup/drop off. We enjoyed the hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, amazing tv room for Sunday football and comfortable sleeping quarters. Thanks again Chris & team for a memorable stay!

Chris’s house was even better than imagined. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of communal space yet with the ability to have privacy if wanted. Chris was helpful and always communicating. This is our second time staying at this house and it’s perfect & safe for our families and kids. There is a hiking trail right out back and all the accommodations and you could possibly need. The beautiful views are also an added bonus.

You know how you read reviews that say that the house is "better than the pictures"? Well, this house is better than the pictures, times about 5. It is truly an incredible house. Looks recently remodeled. Has everything. Great location for hiking trails. Secluded, at the end of a private road. Amazing views. Hosts were friendly and helpful with advice about the area. If you're on the fence about where to stay in the area, this is the place you want to be. You won''t regret it.
