Thank you, Geoffrey, we don't have many facilities outdoors, but the local rail trail is wonderful, and the local council pool is good therapy too: it has one heated pool as well as a kiddies pool and outdoor pools. Just a kilometre away in town. We concentrate on keeping out rooms as sanitized as possible . .

I rarely hear the road noise at night. but yes in the daytime cars pass. Did you shut your windows? I sleep in the front room and only hear cars from about 6am when they are moving out of the car park. Usually during the night, you can hear a pin drop. That is unless there is a crash on the M1, and the cars are diverted. Thank you for staying with us. sorry you could hear the cars

- hey dont forget the couple of bikkys and real milk .- but also , at a small cost , 2 noodles , 3 drinks , 2 chocolates and a packet of cream wafers just for nibbles . There are at least 10 restaurants within 2 kms but lots bring their own corn flakes and bread for toasting these days Keep having fun and stay safe

oh dear please get it straight The booking was your fault only you pressed the buttons only you booked the last room for miles around only you said it was for 2 adults . Now i appeciate that you 'wanted ' a room with 2 beds but this is what you booked - i did not change it . it was only when you got to the room that 'oh dear not enough beds-i booked a room with 2 beds ' your paperwork said quite clearly a queen room for 2 adults - no facilities for children no extra beds We were totally booked out and it was not early but i immediatly set about getting under blankets sheet etc pulled out the substantial divan and made up the extra bed i am certain i said it was an extra charge i cant believe you would expect this for free . I would say this was damn good service at such short notice and considering the circumstances and please stop saying it was not your fault of course it was .you did the booking Ps i know that you would not take your kids to the other motels so next time ensure you book the room with 2 beds even so you got what you needed gee thanks bruce would be the correct action
