Strandhotels in South Padre Island

'We had a 2 bedroom condo with full kitchen. It was fabulous! Beach access was great, easy to rent chairs & umbrellas too. Food and drink was nice and not over priced. The only ding was online they said they have a gym and they don’t. We were told it was being renovated and the bell guy said they lost their agreement with the Sapphire next door. Anyway we found a EXCELLENT GYM in town for $25/day Island Fitness. So all went well.'

'This was our first time staying here and I was pleasantly surprised how clean and modern the inside of the hotel looks. We had beach and pool access since the morning so we were able to enjoy the beach and amenities before check in. Check in process was very easy, staff was very helpful and nice! The food was good, not the best but not the worst.
