The unique historical architecture was interesting, but the hotel was updated and had all the amenities that met our needs, including our private bath that was down the hall. 'SpringHill Suites Southside was a decent option for a quick trip. The suite was roomy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. The location is convenient but can be a little noisy at night due to the rail road. '

'Myself and several of my friends and teammates were in town for a Blues/Swing Dance workshop weekend and we really needed a space with lots of available beds in the heart of Pittsburgh. The location was perfect to get too and from our dance classes and the nearby grocery and restaurants kept all of us happy and fueled through the busy weekend! The owners are super helpful and communicative and the lovely soft beds were just what we needed to rest and recover between long stretches of activity!...
