This apartment was comfortable and well-located, within walking distance to the town. An older-style flat, but everything was clean and worked well. We'd stay here again!

Walking distance to town, even though older unit is was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. A little home away from home. Top floor unit, stairs only. 4 sets of stairs to climb. Not a problem for us though, just something to be aware of for others. Unit felt very open and breezie very nice for a hot summer. Thank you we would book again.

Awesome stay - we'll be back!
The property was perfect for our needs. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, whether we were swimming at the estuary or beaches or having dinner in town. Property was clean, neat and tidy and had everything we needed. We wouldn't hesitate in staying again.

Fantastic getaway
Perfect location, close to swimming at the creek or a few minutes walk into town and the main beaches. Also just a short drive to Trial Bay. The apartment was cosy and tidy, older style and not flash but suited our needs perfectly and was a comfortable home away from home.

The apartment was spacious and clean and it had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, close to everything with little glimpses of the beautiful views. Absolutely loved our stay!

Well located and neat property. However, unfortunately there was no allowance in the bedding for the cold snap which was an event well publicised. We tried (unsuccessfully) to get in touch with the manager via email. As a result, we spent an almost sleepless night being very cold. Only stay in the summer…..

Hi Paul and Jeanette, Sorry to hear this. This is was all avoidable. There are 4 blankets in the wardrobe of each room, with extra pillows and a oil heater. I manage this unit myself. I didn't receive any emails or requests through the app about this only when we communicated with the check in details. My number is in the app as well and available any time. I'm guessing you sent the email to the Real Estate Agent that manages the strata of the complex. Tanya

Property kitchen had not been cleaned. In particular we had to clean the refrigerator before we could place our food in it. The property is in need of considerable maintenance.

Great location
Great location, walk to centre of town, Horse Shoe Bay and Back Creek. Only problem we found 5 adults not easily accommodated, bunk beds with double on bottom, not helpful when you have adult children staying with you. Thank goodness we took blow up bed just in case. Beds too soft and pillows nothing of them. Great place and owner good to communicate with. Just a few little things to be tweaked.

very dark stairwell, lighting didn't stay on long enough to get up the stairs and open the three locks to enter unit. Unit clean and roomy, everything was provided even kitchen foil and paper. property was not listed with correct name or phone number so had to track down through local real estate agent on arrival

Thank you for your review Sarita. The unit is very well ventilated and gets the best sea breeze along with all the ceiling fans keeps it very cool. So at the moment air conditioning isn't required. I review this regularly. It may have been a bit hot for you and family with more people staying then what it was booked for and the unit sleeps. Thank you for your feedback and I hope you enjoyed South West Rocks.

SWR Great Unit
Booked this property online a few days prior to going. Very neat and tidy, great location as close to beach, shops and eateries. Good outlook and had everything we needed including linen supplied, tv and dvd, kitchen with full sized fridge, bathroom included a bath, and laundry. Also no problem to tack an extra night onto booking whilst there. Property Manager happily answered all queries in a very timely and efficient manner. Would highly recommend, and look forward to staying here again.

My only complaint was we were not told that we had to take our own toilet paper, there was only the smallest amount left on the roll so had to go to shops as soon as we got there.

Immaculately clean unit but need to take own linen
Well kept 1970's style apartment. We ran out of toilet paper on our one night stay (only a bit left on the roll and none in any cupboards). Bit of a hike carrying luggage upstairs for we older ones. Warning - not recommend for young children or drunk parties as the railings on the balcony DO NOT meet current safety regulations- they are quite low and therefore dangerous. Great location- one block from pub and cafes and shops. 2 blocks from beach and river. River view May soon be built out by units currently being erected.

We really enjoyed our stay at Quarter Deck....the flat was clean & tidy & comfortable. Easy walking distance to everything meant we only took the car out once. Lovely views of the river.

Perfect little immaculate unit in a great location. We will definitely be back!!!
We loved our visit to South West Rocks. The Quarterdeck - number 9 is comfortable, immacuately kept and has lovely views. Only a short stroll to the shops. Tanya was also great with communication before our stay. Thanks for having us. We will definitely be back!
