'We had a great time exploring the island. The house was nice and well stocked. The deck had a great view of the water and we saw seals out playing ever evening.'

'We had rented this house previously and rented it again for a family gathering. It has been great both times we’ve rented. The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries.'

'Had a super fantastic trip. Everything was in order in the VRBO. There wasn’t a single thing we could’ve wanted. Everything was there. Extra towels. Kitchen items. Plastic bags. Portable coffee cups. Even a noise maker if the quiet really was more than you could handle.'

'Clear communication and kind interaction with management. Such a fun place to stay with children who can explore the woods, endlessly and find magic in every nook and cranny. The extra wood available for the fire pit was so great and appreciated. We were unable to find bug repellent that stated would be left, but we didn’t have any issues. Kitchen is a little sparse for needs and maybe some more child friendly size eating where, but all the basics were there and everything was comfortable. Check...

'Unit was very large with beautifully equipped kitchen. Bonus was it even had a dishwasher! Yard was partially fenced which was an added benefit if traveling with a pet. Only downside were the trains running in the middle of the night if you’re a light sleeper. Very clean and well maintained. Great value for the size and amenities. '

'Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.'

'The property looks like a post card picture. The cottage over looks a beautiful garden and is right on the water. Ed is a gracious host and has anticipated everything you may need.'

'Adults who slept over for a 2 day retreat were all able-bodied and able to navigate the steps indoor and outdoor. Two people joined us for the day who had knee issues and once they got into the house, they were fine.'

'We had an incredible stay at this property - it was exactly as listed and absolutely perfect for celebrating our anniversary. The space was luxurious, the views were stunning, and everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. One highlight was the exceptionally well stocked kitchen, which made cooking a breeze (not something you find in every rental!). We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would come back in a heartbeat.'

'We'll be open to returning one day. Very considerate owners ensuring our stay was the best it could be. Lacked nothing for a simple life atmosphere. Bed was super comfy. The shower floor was very therapeutic.'

Don’t be discouraged as you are driving up to the home (the neighborhood looks a little suspect). We had a great time there and wish we could have stayed longer. '

'It is a beautiful property with everything you need to feel like you're at a cabin in the mountains. It has beautiful views of the canal. It even has a fully functioning outside bathroom. It was so peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our time there and we definitely be staying there again! Don't forget to bring smores to have on the open fire. '

"Ruime kaner, badkamer verouderd en klein, lamp in badkamer maakt erg veel lawaai in combinatie met airco. Kan he niet afzonderlijk aanzetten . Wij gebruikten daarom verlichting van de heater in de badkamer. Handdoeken rek zit op onlogische plek stoot je steeds tegenaan. Bed staat op wieltjes dus bij beweging gaat hij verplaatsen. Kamer ruikt overdreven naar schoonmaak middel Onder bedden wordt niet schoongemaakt Hotel doet Nederlands voorkomen met naam Holland Inn en molens en tulpen maar niemand spreekt of kent Nederland. Ligt aan een drukke doorgaande weg, nachts geen last van ochtends hoor je wel veel verkeer. Ontbijt is basic maar goed verzorgd "
