'I loved it! We were greeted by the host and their dog (who’s friendly as ever!) upon arrival and everything went perfectly smooth from there. The blankets were honestly the best part, LOL! We were all obsessed! Perfect little spot to stay right off the highway in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely consider it again in the future if I need somewhere to stay near here again! '

'Private and very clean location. King bed was SOOO comfortable to relax and sleep in. Roomy bathroom. Just like staying in a fancy hotel. If was staying longer would have preferred more than a mini fridge. Since no kitchen we made due with doing dishes in shower & sink with a small wash tub. Possibly a small utility sink in laundry storage room would be beneficial. Brought an electric griddle to make our food a few times. Otherwise a perfect location with nice views on both of the spacious...

'We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.'

'What a fantastic house and property! There were plenty of places for everyone to sleep, hang out, and have fun! It was clean and well stocked. The view of the Mississippi River was gorgeous. The only negative was the sulphur smell of the water, but we appreciated that clean jugs of water were provided in the kitchen for our use.'
