'I honestly cannot rate my stay at Papageno Resort in Kadavu highly enough. As a backpacker on a budget, staying here was a very special treat for me, and it exceeded every expectation.
Every single member of the staff, without exception, was incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely focused on making sure I had the best possible experience. Their warmth and kindness made such a difference, and I truly felt welcomed throughout my stay.

By far the best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying. We had a group of 25 and lots of younger children. Everything was amazing, the staff, the amenities, the entertainment, the whole vibe of the resort was incredible.
The kids were so entertained, from morning to night. Kids club was available, however we did not use once as our kids loved the daily activities available!

'Goed verblijf gehad bij The Pearl. Internet lag er uit toen we incheckten waardoor ze op dat moment geen kamersleutels konden uitgeven. De competene en gastvrije dame achter de balie had snel een work around gevonden + had meteen een spa afspraak voor ons geregeld.
Spa medewerkers waren zeer gastvrij en masseerden goed. Blij dat we op zo'n korte termijn terecht konden.

'The hotel was really nice! The staff was amazing! They came sit at your table and speak with you, and they sang for us! They were really helpfull and nice. We really liked the scenery and the quiteness of the location. However, if you would want to leave the hotel you have to walk a 4km road that is hilly, or you can be dropped off by the hotel at the road for a fee. '
'We really enjoyed our stay at the InterContinental Resort. We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience, especially with the food.
A special thanks to Chef Faruq and Irfaz for preparing delicious, customised vegan meals for us. Every meal, from breakfast to dinner, was excellent. The food was always fresh, tasty, and felt just like homemade vegan food.

'Property has been neglected ( clearly for years) and in places poses safety issues. Broken Decking, lounges malfunctioning crucial pool toilets, etc etc. Paper receipts for every drink food etc in 3 piece carbon strips which frankly archaic necessitating some poor staff member to manually go through the slips from a Tupperware box and assign . 'The pool closes early. All activities were suspended due to winds. Adult pool only until 5 as they have a lot of weddings. We kept having to call for our drink at night. Very unhappy they told us the shuttle to town was working and when we got there is was not and cost 70.00 fiji money for round trip. Breakfast is good wish they had more drink options like mimiosa.
