It’s walking distance to some of the best rated restaurants and many of the museums in the historic district and only 8 min to the NPS Military Park. I stayed with my young son and there was also a fabulous playground within walking distance. Staying here was the perfect addition to the sites we planned to see in Vicksburg. 'We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage Cottage very much. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. Everything was clean, kitchen well equipped, and king bed was very comfortable. My only suggestion is to change out the sofa in living area to something more comfortable. Hope we can stay again sometime.'
