'We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was incredibly smooth, and the welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The hotel itself is quite large and can feel a bit like a maze, but thankfully, the rooms and hallways are very well signposted, so finding our way around was never an issue. 'The most disappointing stay I have ever had. Arrived after 4 hour drive to be told the indoor heated poor was down this week for maintenance…no email, nothing on website. When i explained that was why we came as we had visited and loved it 10 years ago, was advised if I wanted I could use the local swimming pool. I couldn’t then book into hot springs instead as advised by the desk because it was adults only in the evening. Tried to make the kids happy with the indoor pool, it was freezing!'

'We had a one night stay here on our Australia trip. We stayed in the Captain's Cottage which was a lovely, spacious room. It was beautifully furnished and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. There is complimentary tea and coffee for guests in the main building, as well as in the rooms. We went in to get a drink at about 8 pm but the coffee machine had run out of most choices and the water to make the tea was lukewarm. Not a huge problem but maybe something to think about...
