'I stayed at The Promissory Hotel while visiting Roanoke for work. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff called me ahead of time to let me know which door to enter and where to park. Once getting there, they helped me with my bags to the room. The room was spotless and had a very unique vibe, unlike that of chain hotels. I also mentioned I would be staying in Roanoke more often so they offered to set me up with a frequent visitor rate. 10/10 recommend, I will be staying again!'

'Stopped here during a long drive from Florida to Pittsburgh and it was exactly what I needed. The location was super convenient and the hotel is pet-friendly for a very reasonable fee, which made traveling so much easier. Breakfast and coffee were provided in the morning , a huge plus before getting back on the road. The woman at the front desk who checked me in was especially wonderful, friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. I truly appreciated her kindness after a long day of travel....

'Booking was effortless through Expedia. We were greeted at the door by Pat, the owner. He gave us a quick tour and set a combo code to the front door of the house of our choosing. There is an open snack and coffee area, and "trail magic" shelf full of items that a hiker might need without a store nearby. The shared bathroom was WELL stocked. The cats were very friendly and the inn gave plenty of notice of the household cats. All in all a very enjoyable stay. The actual bedroom was quite small,...
