  • Rustig studio appartement van ca. 42 in een middeleeuws gebouw, gelegen in het historische centrum van Spello, op slechts een minuut lopen van het centrale plein. Het grote exclusieve terras van 50 m2. kijkt uit op het oosten met uitzicht op het landschap, heuvels en bergen. Amerikaanse keuken goed uitgerust met oven, magnetron, vaatwasser, koffiezetapparaat, broodrooster. The stay was close to the center city of Spello. Parking is free at the public parking which was a 5 minute walk down hill. Roberto was kind and helpful. Great location.

Vi älskade den stora terrassen med fantastisk utsikt, den vackra och välutrustade lägenheten Det var mycket nära till ” gamla stan”. Det var lätt att parkera. Roberto var mycket tillmötesgående ,informativ, och vänlig.

Very Comfortable

Beautiful, quiet location, great views from terrace and only a few steps into the old centre of Spello. Very kindly collected from Spello train station by Roberto. Highly recommended.

The host was a bit grumpy. Two bath towels provided for 8 days for two people. No bath soap, shampoo, which became a non-issue because even I, at 5'2", 105 pounds, didn't fit in the bagno, itself accessible by several sets of stairs. My husband at 6'3," 200 lbs, literally gave up and used the McDonald's bagno 20 min. away. It was well-located as a base of operations, with a beautiful view of the Umbrian countryside. No coffee pot.

A Hidden Gem with the Best Patio Ever

I found this incredible apartment in Spello at the last minute and had booked it because of the glowing reviews. I'm so happy to add another one to the list. After a horrific travel day, which was scheduled to be late at night to begin with, I ended up not arriving in Spello until almost 1:30 in the morning. I was stressed (to say the least) and Roberto assured me that he would be available to meet for check in no matter what. As my arrival kept getting later, this sweet man told me to take my time and continued to wait. When I met him, he could not have been more kind, showing me everything I needed to know in the apartment. Roberto continued to check in with me throughout my stay and made me feel so welcome in Spello. The apartment is so unique and the pictures don't do it justice. I spent half of my 3 nights there sitting out on the massive patio looking at the stars. It's pure heaven. Inside, there's a perfectly equipped kitchen, cozy bed, and the overall ambiance of the space makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. I came by car and was able to park in a lot that is just about a 3 minute walk from the apartment. Spello itself is stunning and the people are lovely. It's hard not to fall in love with this adorable village. I HIGHLY recommend staying in Roberto's apartment if you make a trip to Spello (which I also recommend!). I can't wait to return and I can only hope this apartment will be available when I do. Thank you, Roberto!!!

Mooie authentieke woning in Spello

Mooie woning, groot terras met prachtig uitzicht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is ruimschoots aanwezig. Badkamer is erg klein, maar netjes en prima verder. Gelegen aan de buitenrand van Spello, parkeren kan vlak bij de woning. We hebben een super fijne week gehad!

Roberto is a very sympathetic and fluently English speaking host. His apartment is very comfortable, well equipped and tastefully furnished, with an enormous terrace overlooking the hills of Umbrie, almost in the middle of the centre of the charming medieval Spello.

Zeer aan te bevelen plek

Prima verzorgd. Alles aanwezig. Schitterend terras en geweldig uitzicht. Verhuurder zeer vriendelijk. Niet geschikt voor mensen die echt slecht ter been zijn. Maar dat geldt voor heel Spello. Je moet veel klimmen.Spello mooie uitvalsplek voor dagtochtjes.

zomervakantie 2013 in Umbrië

Het propere appartement, eigenlijk een ruime studio voor twee personen met een groot terras, ligt net aan de rand van Spello. Je hebt er een prachtig uitzicht op het oostelijk gebergte van de vallei tussen Perugia en Spoleto en op Foligno. Te voet ben je zo in het centrum van Spello, met talloze restaurants en winkels (ook algemene voeding, slager,...). Voor het grootwarenhuis dien je slechts enkele minuten te rijden. Ideale uitvalsbasis om Umbrië te bezoeken. De eigenaar ontvangt je goed en geeft alle nodige uitleg. De badkamer is zeer klein. Het gebruik ervan vergt enige oefening, maar het lukt wel.

Gem of an apartment!

This apartment is fabulous, full of charm and character and a pleasure to holiday in! The views are stunning from the private patio, and it’s just a short walk from the village centre. Reasonably well equipped, though the oven was not working, there was a hob and microwave. The bathroom is tiny with 2 very deep steps up to it, useful to know if anyone has mobility issues. My husband managed but it was not easy. The railway station and supermarket are about a 15 minute walk away, downhill going, uphill coming back! Roberto, the owner was great, he picked us up from the station and took us back at the end of the stay. If we return to Spello we will definitely stay in this gem of an apartment again! Loved it!

Great apartment in a lovely location

It’s comfortable and fully equipped and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. We love it. Spello is a god central location for Umbria but it’s not a foodies paradise - but then we like to cook for ourselves and the terrace is a wonderful shady place to eat in the evening.

Charming and Spacious

Roberto was a very kind and thoughtful host. His place is far better than the pictures show. The ceiling is magical and it is enormous by any country’s standards. It took us a while to figure out the clothes washer but my husband did and we were able to wash all our clothes. The apartment is in a perfect location and the balcony is enormous with a sweeping view of the Umbrian countryside. The only negatives are minor and certainly wouldn’t deter me from booking again. The bathroom is about the size of an airplane bathroom and has two very steep and narrow steps to get into it. If you have any mobility issues, this might not work for you. Or if you are very tall or large, you will be very uncomfortable in the bathroom and shower. The other is the bed and pillows aren’t the most comfortable but I’ve certainly slept in worse. All that being said, you will be thrilled by Roberto’s place. It is charming and spacious (except the bathroom lol) and magical!
