'Very spacious living area and 2 lovely bathrooms! We were the first holiday makers, everything was new! Very well equipped.The beach and sea just across the road so great views.Above a fairly quiet micro pub - a good place to drink.Seaton Carew is a pleasant old fashioned seaside resort, we had great weather but we didn't swim!! Plenty of things to see and do nearby.'

'A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. '

'Perfect little cottage for a quiet getaway. My fiance and me were looking for somewhere to unwind from our very hectic lives, and we found it at Tom's Cottage. The cottage itself is extremely welcoming - with an open fire, which was very handy because we were there in February. It's also well equipped with just about everything you'll need for a comfortable stay.The village in which it's located is lovely and serene. The people are very friendly. And the surrounding area is stunningly beautiful....

'Well this booking was made on the whole purpose of having a relaxing weekend after running 350km for charity over the past few months. So we booked here for the hot tub and the relevant ease of running a Park Run on the Saturday. After running this Park Run we returned back to the accommodation for our day of in and out of the hot tub. Although this turned out to be turned off so we had an ice bath, not advertised on the website. We then were told that we would get a nights refund for this...

'We loved this property. The owners obviously have an eye for decor as it is a really stylish place and beautifully finished. We loved how peaceful the property was and the owners had thought of everything . We really appreciated the tea, coffee and milk after a 5 hour drive and the muffins, biscuits and crisps were a lovely touch. All the information you needed was in a folder and we visited lots of the places recommenced in it. It’s a fantastic property and we hope to stay there again.'

'Lovely cosy cottage. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.We loved the wildlife and the spectacular views. So peaceful and a very short drive to Barnard castle. If I'm to be picky I would say a heater would be a good idea in the conservatory for colder months. The cottage itself was really warm. I can honestly say there is nothing to complain about. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you.'

'We loved the cottage however it wasn’t cleaned to a very good standard. We found someone else’s underwear in the drawers, opened food in the freezer and dirt in the bath on the first day. Cottage was well situated in the village and easily accessible. Local pubs were closed on Monday and Tuesday so not ideal if you want to eat out on these nights. We walked to one pub on the Wednesday to have dinner however we were not greeted in a friendly manner which put us off. We had one drink and left....
