It’s definitely quiet and for quiet guests as it’s an older property. I really enjoyed the charm and especially the proximity to the Nelson Atkins museum. Despite there being many families present, the group was not very respectful—there were engines revving during quiet hours, loud music, and even arguments in the hallways early in the morning. 'The staff is excellent, the front desk and the bellman were a blast from the past at the excellent service you come to expect from a Westin. Where it fell short wet the amenities which I’ve been accustomed to in my previous stays. It’s a little thing, but when you pay $400 for a hotel room you expect better than 1 ply toilet paper. Their beds are still the best in the business though. Make sure you bring a step stool if you are shorter than 5’2”. The biggest “miss” was the food service. ...
