'This amazing cabin more than lived up to our expectations!! My family enjoyed blueberry picking, foraging for mushrooms, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, swimming, incredible sunsets, campfires, listening to the loons and just being together in nature. Our two weeks spent at the cabin were incredible. Barbara (the owner) and Mark (the caretaker) were very attentive to all our questions. We look forward to coming back!!'

'It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.'

'Always a wonderful stay at this cabin- quiet, comfortable, with the beauty of the lake right outside. Reading and hikes during the day, watching the sunset and maybe a movie at night. The kitchen is simple but always seems to have what I need. This is my 3rd visit and I'll be coming back again!'

'Great time ice fishing. We were 5 guys and fit fine at the rental. Kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Access to river during the winter with a side by side we had to go to different entry point but it wasn’t far. Owner was next door so any questions were addressed immediately. Would recommend.'

'This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!!'

'The property at Grand Lake Stream was exactly as advertised. It was clean, plenty big enough and the setting simply could not have been better. Even during a cooler than usual late August, we were in the water every day (don’t forget your water shoes, you’ll need them). 'My family ranged in age from 19 to 70 and the property provided the perfect backdrop for all our events and antics. The pond surprised us with two good catches and a few bass. We ventured out and about into the town of Lincoln, Bangor and Aroostook county. We even had several conversations with the neighbors. 'We really enjoyed relaxing on the spacious porch after spending our days fishing in the area. The view of the pond and the comfortable seating were great. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and meal preparation was a breeze. Beautiful scenery but located close to shopping in Lincoln, this was the perfect base for us to float-fish the Penobscot and East Branch. Would recommend, and would love to return.'

'My husband dog and I, very much enjoyed the camp. So peaceful. We ended up getting up there later than planned. John waited for us. He was so kind and helpful. My car ended up having issues and needed to be fixed. I texted John. He sent me to a garage in Lincoln. They were so nice. The lake is clean and clear. So beautiful. Close enough to the beautiful town of Lincoln, for shopping. We even stayed an extra day beyond our original departure date. The host is very accommodating and replies quickly.'
