'The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.'

'The apartment was clean, easily accessible and beautifully furnished/equipped with everything you would need. We had a slight problem viewing chanels on the Smart TV's but I think that was done to us not being used to them more than anything else :)Lovely, lovely apartment, would highly recommend this apartment.Thank you'

'Two separate electrical faults. One caused a flame to shoot out the wall melting the wires in the kitchen socket, the other melted the wires in the immersion heater meaning no hot water for several days. A door fell off in the kitchen, and the upstairs landing storage heater wires had been cut and disconnected so it was freezing upstairs at night. I was told by the electrician that came out several times that the owner of the property liked to ‘tinker’ with the electrics hence the botched up...

'Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area.'

'We had a lovely last minute stay here, the views out are amazing, especially the sunsets!. We were a couple staying with our labrador, and we all loved the relax. The pod was equipped with everything you can think of, and the owners are really friendly and helpful. We had the added bonus of staying in a pod with a hot tub which was perfect after long days out walking. We took drives from here to nearby beaches, to conniston, buttermere and beyond.
