'We and some friends stayed while visiting our kids for St. Pats in Rolla. The house is nicely decorated and communication with the owner was easy and quick. Sleeps 8 with everyone in a bedroom on a real bed (no sleep sofas). Neighborhood was cute too. We would stay here again.'

'The property was great. Access to a nice sized little lake with a canoe, two kayaks, fire pit, and great hiking trails on property. It rained a lot when we were down there which had an effect on the well water so make sure to bring pretty of bottled water to drink just in case.'

'This property was clean and the lake was so nice. If you are looking for a little getaway that is simple in design, this fits the bill. If you are interested in watching TV, (we were not that interested) be sure to know how to use a smart TV. Montauk State Park is not that far away if you are interested in trout fishing. There is a beautiful fire pit, so get some firewood. Also, charcoal for the grill and you’re all set:'

'We all had a great time at Sunset Ridge. We were within a 25 min drive of many great activities. We explored caves, did zip lining, river rafting, and ate great food at Route 66 restaurants. Sunset Ridge was centrally located to all those activities and provided a beautiful and relaxing spot to wind down for the day. Sunsets were beautiful, and the property was quiet and peaceful. Great location!!'

'The house was just as described. This was the second time we stayed in one of their homes. The only issue I have, and this prevented me from 5 stars, was we arrived a little after the check in time, and the owners (I am assuming), were there outside and before check out time, they drove by (this was a dead end street). This made us a bit nervous and irritated.'

'This place surpassed our expectations! The home was extremely clean and comfortable. The property was amazing. Sitting on the porch and hearing the water moving in the creek was so very relaxing. The owners were so helpful and we really enjoyed visiting with them when they stopped by to milk their cow. The weather wasn’t ideal but it did not interfere with the experience. Would definitely like to book again.'

'Our family loves riverside locations and the Hazel and Oliver cabins did not disappoint. The lovingly restored cabins on the bank of the Meramac were well furnished and ready for a relaxing stay. The beds were amazing, which is always a good thing! We enjoying the well stocked supply of games and our kids aged 2-9 loved the kids toys and playing around the property! We tried our hand a fishing but had no luck this early in the season. The solo stove was a lovely bonus as we enjoyed several...

'The home was everything we hoped for. Clean, spacious, and very well stocked. The barn area was amazing with all the activities provided. The property is very well kept and very private. We could not have picked a better place to get away for a couple days. Thank you to the owners for making it great.'

'This little house is a gem: a charming, beautifully restored 19th century cottage. Everything in the house is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Think hobbit house, if the hobbits hired Martha Stewart. We stayed two nights, as a stop over during a long road trip, and it was nearly perfect. Highly recommended.'

'We stayed for my friends low-key bachelorette weekend and had a great time. The house so many bathrooms that made getting ready for dinner a breeze and the kitchen and dining room was great for game night. And the house was beautiful! The only complaint we had were that there seemed to be an abundance of wasps around the front porch and there was no grill.'

We had a lovely bon fire one night, such a huge treat on a chilly night. We had plenty of table space to eat together & play board games on. The whole week was magical & we all will treasure memories that were made at the River Place.'
