Villa Zusammen - onlangs gerenoveerd met prachtig uitzicht

Villa Zusammen - voorheen bekend als "Sea Cay" - is een populaire vakantiebestemming op St. John al meer dan 20 jaar! In 2015 hebben nieuwe kopers het landgoed met meerdere niveaus gekocht en grondig gerenoveerd. De eigenaren hebben de naam Zusammen hernoemd, wat 'samen' betekent. Villa Zusammen brengt inderdaad binnen / buiten wonen samen in een ruimte die luxe en de ruwe schoonheid van de natuur even viert!

De ruimte
Villa Zusammen beschikt over 3 master suites, allemaal met een eigen badkamer en uitzicht op de oceaan. Elke slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed met luxe beddengoed, een flatscreen-tv en individueel bedienbare airconditioning. Twee van de kamers hebben een eigen veranda om te ontspannen en de golven te bekijken.

De grote zaal met airconditioning belooft een populaire ontmoetingsplaats te worden! Naast een gewelfd plafond met hoge balken, is de kamer ingericht met comfortabele rotan stoelen en een grote HDTV flatscreen met satelliet- en premiumkanalen. De bijgewerkte keuken is voorzien van nieuwe granieten werkbladen en roestvrijstalen apparaten om aan al uw kookbehoeften te voldoen. Ondertussen is de ontbijtbar op het kookeiland een uitstekende plek om te kletsen met koffie of om uw "chef" gezelschap te houden terwijl ze hun magie in de keuken uitwerken. De overdekte eettafel biedt plaats aan zes personen. Als u het buiten wilt meenemen, is het overdekte terras met een KitchenAid grill en teakhouten eettafel perfect voor een feest in de buitenlucht of een spelavond. De binnenplaats is een ideaal toevluchtsoord voor die dagen dat u wilt relaxen bij het zwembad en genieten van de wervelende zonsondergangen. Het uitgestrekte dek biedt onbelemmerd uitzicht op de oceaan.

Villa Zusammen is een uitgestrekte woning, met grote ruimtes voor gezelligheid en gezellige nissen voor privé-tijd. Het is de optimale instelling voor een groepsuitje. Gelegen op een rustige heuvel met uitzicht op Rendezvous Bay en Ditleff Point, biedt deze accommodatie een prachtig, 180 graden uitzicht op de Caribische Zee. Op zoek naar een levendige scène? Cruz Bay - St. Johns bruisende hoofdstad - ligt op een handige 7 minuten rijden.

We had an amazing time! Such a clean property and the view is breathtaking. I was pleasantly surprised that this location seemed to have fewer mosquitoes than the ones we've stayed at in the past. So we were able to spend a lot of time outside in the pool and on the deck. Also, the host was so kind and responsive and even let us borrow a few preschool books for our son's bedtime. Thank you!

Great place to stay on St. John! Location is close to Cruz Bay, with 2 grocery stores between the house and Cruz Bay, so that was nice. The area the house is in is quiet, you may hear some neighbors in their pool or down in the bay, but overall, it was quite and serene. The view from the house is unbeatable! We watched boats anchor in Klein Bay, snorkelers, boats offshore, and even watched sea turtles play in the bay. The house itself was very cool. It has everything you need, fully stocked kitchen if you want to cook, plenty of space to spread out, washer and dryer, pool, did I mention the view?! All 3 bedrooms are very nicely sized with large bathrooms to match, I enjoyed the open air showers in 2 of the bedrooms. The bedrooms do open to the outside, not to the inside like we're used to in the US, but the house does have a main door that locks and a wall, so I never felt unsafe, even with our young kids. Overall, I can't say enough good things about the villa and St. John, but I will say that we'll be back! Oh, Lauren the property manager is highly responsive and a great resource for local info.

Once a year for the last 8 years our group of friends pick an island, so far St John has been our favorite, and this home has been the best home we have stayed at on the island, perfect location. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bedrooms mattresses were very comfortable, a must. We would stay here again

Villa Zusammen was just as pictured and such a beautiful place to stay with our family. This was our first time to St John and the Villa had everything we needed. It’s a great location to access beaches, hiking etc and is furnished with coolers, beach chairs, etcThe privacy of each bedroom with beautiful bathrooms for each of our adult children and ourselves was perfect. The kitchen is fully stocked with what you need so cooking in was fun on some nights and such a great common area to gather. We spent our first day just enjoying the Villa with its pool and amazing views. We would definitely book again and are so happy to have so many wonderful memories for our family vacationSpecial thanks to Lauren for meeting us and guiding us on our first day to the Villa

We loved our stay at Villa Zusammen. The photos do not do this place justice. It has fabulous views, great amenities and a short 7min drive to town. We would highly recommend for your stay in St. John. Our priorities when booking were expansive views, close proximity into Cruz Bay, a pool & 3 master bedrooms. This exceeded all of our expectations! The welcome guide was great. We used many of the taxi drivers, beach & food recommendations on the list. 5 start stay!

This was our favorite house we’ve ever had on St John. The AC kept every area nice and cool. The beds were very comfortable. The view from every room is unreal. The patio and deck was massive and very well furnished. I would absolutely stay here again. Well done Villa Zusaman team!

Loved the house - beautiful view and location. The house had everything you could need including a generator if the power went out. We loved sitting outside or being in the pool every day. Communication was great with the property manager and we had no issues. Highly recommend for a great vacation!

From the moment we walked into the villa, we fell in love. The views over Rendezvous Bay are spectacular! Tori and the property management team were incredible. Tori met us at the car ferry and had us follow her to the house. She gave us a tour of the whole property and explained where everything was and how everything worked. The house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation, including all the beach gear you need. The location is close to all the restaurants, shops and sites of Cruz Bay but removed enough to be incredibly peaceful. Close to multiple grocery stores as well. The house is absolutely beautiful. All three bedroom are large, with breathtaking views, tons of storage and beautiful bathrooms. The kitchen was great, had every amenity you could possibly need to make every meal. The real showstopper of the house is the pool and deck area. Swimming in the pool and staring out at Rendezvous Bay and the Caribbean Sea was incredible. Tons of space to relax as a family. Beautiful outdoor dining/BBQ area, again with the same amazing views. We are already dreaming of our next trip back! Thank you for an incredible stay!

This property is better than the pictures! My family of 4 really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Villa Zusammem. The 3 bedrooms were more than enough room for us. The A/C worked very well, and having the onsite generator really helped with the rolling blackouts on the island. The location is super and the view can't be break. The quality of the furnishings is top notch and again better than the they appear in the pictures. Also the kitchen was outfitted very well. We only used the pool a couple times, but it was very refreshing after a day at the beach. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Stayed at several properties on St John and St Thomas . This one all around was the best so far. Will book this house again. Very private, quiet, exclusive. A/C throughout, the deck and pool were awesome, all around best place for us so far. Can’t wait to come back!

Family of four (two adult children). Plenty of privacy. Amazing views. Lauren was very helpful at check in and with suggestions for charters to BVI. Kitchen was well stocked. We stayed at the house more than we expected because it was just too nice to leave. Drive to Cruz Bay and supermarket was easy. Perfect for families with teens and groups of adults. Will definitely stay here again.

Two sets of parents and our kids get engaged on the beach. Could not have been a better vacation. The house was truly amazing and suited our needs perfectly. The rooms are set up for privacy but the common area proved to be a welcoming gathering area. The quality of the kitchen pots, pans, dishes and bar ware was excellent. The washer and dryer was top notch. The linens and towels were great. The beds and pillows were very supportive. The home was very warm and cozy and we immediately felt comfortable. Also we were surprised to find spices, oil, foil, ketchup and the list goes on and on. Tori & Lauren from the management company could not have done a better job. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend this home for adult couples.

The house was great for us as a family of 4 with two teens. Everybody had their own space and then a common kitchen/living area. Location was great overlooking the bay and was easy getting into Cruz Bay and up to Centerline and Coral Bay as well. We would definitely stay here again.

We hope to stay here again. We traveled as three young adult couples and found the layout perfect for our group. Hard to beat the view. The drive from cruz bay to the villa was very manageable. The property management team was helpful. Looking forward to our next stay!

This was our third stay on St John and one of our favorite homes. Super comfortable beds, well functioning air conditioning, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and chairs and cooler for the beach. We loved that the pool was near the outdoor dining area overlooking the bay (our last rental had the pool on the other side of the house and because of that we rarely used it). Tori was wonderful, prompt, helpful, and really friendly and welcoming. Practice your k-turns before arriving as the driveway is very tight but not at all a problem. My only complaint was the smell of the kitchen/living room. It may have been the cleaning solution the housekeeping crew uses? Not sure. But after a day or two with the doors open and an air freshener from the market it was much more pleasant. I give this house 5 stars and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Probably the best vacation my husband and I have had in a long time. Easy to do at the Villa Zusammen. The well appointed house was beautifully decorated with a spectacular view of Klein bay. The stars at night while in the pool were a highlight. Spacious bedrooms; all the amenities you need to cook and enjoy the space. We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas and Tori’s (PM) assistance with area information. You will not be disappointed with this rental!

Just make sure you drop off your own trash at a dumpster in town periodically and know where to drop it off exactly where the trash needs to be dumped. I didn’t know until I was leaving that I had to get rid of it myself. I think they should have a list of the little things that need to be done before you vacate ,laminated and sitting on the kitchen counter. Other than not knowing last minute things, the stay was the best.

All I can say is that it was great. The property owner met us at the ferry to show us to the house and show us around. The property was absolutely beautiful and the pictures don’t even do it justice. Our family of five had a wonderful stay at Villa Zusammen. We were a bit apprehensive before arriving that we didn't have a west facing view as in all of out other stays on St. John. However, this quickly fell by the wayside as the unobstructed view of Ditleff Point and the southern sea is quite serene and amazing. On a cloudless night you have an extra-special view of the stars without the light pollution of St. Thomas. Everything about the home is great. Well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable beds, high-quality furnishings and overall very comfortable home. Tori, the property manager, is great! She was able to provide us with pre-arrival provisioning, mid-stay housekeeping, and was always easily accessible and willing to help out on whatever we needed. Such a gem of a property and can't wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Zussamen. The house is decorated beautifully and the beds are so comfortable. The Property Manager was great. One awesome item in the house is a whole house generator. The power went out and the generator went right on without skipping a beat. The Property Manager, Tori, checked in with us immediately to be certain the generator kicked on. Definitely would go back here if we return to St. John.
